First chapters for stories that for some reason or another I never made it that far into. Depending on the reception of some of these chapters I may go back and try again.
"Usually I wouldn't even consider you with how little experience you have in this line of work" Perry White spoke as he flipped through the small résumé of the man he was interviewing.

"Oh I know" (y/n) (l/n) replied without thinking. The man quickly looked up at him. "Uh- Clark warned me that you only hire the best" he offered his best smile.
"Right" Perry replied with a nod. "He says you're just as good as he is, maybe better" he spoke as he put the résumé down.
"I'm also a good photographer" (y/n) quickly added, hoping that would help him. "I included a few pictures in-"
"I know. Kent already showed me" Perry waved him off as he sat down behind his desk. "That's what sold me. You've got the job"
(Y/n) smiled widely. "You won't regret it Mr. White!" He spoke adamantly as he offered his hand to the man and they shook hands.
"I better not" the man quickly noticed someone walking past his slightly ajar door. "Olsen! Get in here"
The young man quickly turned and entered the room. "Yeah chief?" Olsen asked as he noticed (y/n) and offered him a smile which was quickly returned.

"(Y/n) (l/n), Jimmy Olsen. Jimmy Olsen, (y/n) (l/n)" Perry introduced them and they quickly shook hands. "Olsen show (l/n) to the bullpen. Sit him at the empty desk next to Grant"
Jimmy gave the boy a look of pity. "Poor guy"
"She can't be that bad" (y/n) smiled as Jimmy and Perry exchanged smirks upon hearing that.
"(L/n) I'm starting you on the local fluff pieces. You know what I mean?" The boy nodded. "Good. Olsen get him to work"
Jimmy quickly nodded and turned to (y/n). "Come on, I'll show you around"
They exited the Chief's office and closed the door behind them. "Nice guy" (y/n) smiled as he glanced back at the door they had just exited.
"He grows on you" Jimmy shrugged as he lead the boy around. "So your Clark's friend right?" He asked as he showed the boy the break room.
