Isabella's pov:
I woke up, AGAIN , to three words, "We made it!!!" From Jayla. I open my eyes to see the * Welcome to Tennessee* sign out the window. I attempt to wake Javon up but he doesn't want to get up "it's to early to get up give me 5 more minutes". "Wanna we made it" "yay" he says while falling back asleep.
I lean near the passengers seat to see if Jaden was awake. "Jaden" I whispered in his ear. "What" he said. He was awake with his eyes closed the whole time. "Help me wake up wanna" I say. he turned his head to look at me leaning on the back of his seat. "Why would I give up such an amazing opportunity" he said as he scrunched his face.
We talked about our plan in a low voice, practically whispering. We planned to play a bass boosted song on YouTube in full volume.
"Ready?" he asked. "Yes" I reply "Jayla put on your headphones real quick" Jaden inform his sister. "3, 2 ,1". He let out the loudest, most obnoxious scream.
"Sorry" me and Jaden say while giggling. Javon didn't feel like giving into our antics so he went on his phone."Real nice guys" he says not looking up from his phone as if that didn't scare the shit out of him.
I texted the cheer group chat to see what hotel everyone is staying in.
It was night by the time we arrived but that's why we came a day earlier. We parked in front of the hotel. Anxiety taking over my body. "Javon?" I whispered. "What's wrong" he said noticing the worry on my face. "When we get in can I hide behind you" I asked. "Yeah but you do know you're gonna see them either way right" "yeah I know but it's just for now" I say. "Okay" he responded.
When we got out, I opened the trunk letting everyone get there their things. Jayla checked in for us since she was the oldest.
We made it to the room without anyone seeing us so I didn't have to hide. It has two double beds. " I call the one by the window! finally made it before you Jaden " Jayla says, cocking her head at the boy in a sarcastic way.
"I'm being generous just this one time so don't get too cocky" he replies. I have to get to bed early since I have practice tomorrow. "Isa come sleep with me" Jayla says, patting the side of the bed for me to sit on it. "I was gonna sleep with you anyways, not any of with these weirdos" I said looking at the twins. We ordered a pizza from little ceasers and called it a night.
Next morning*
I couldn't sleep so I had less than 3 hours of sleep. Which is rare for me because I can sleep for hours and hours. It was about time I get ready so I do just that. I look through my bag, making a mess trying to find my shorts and practice shirt that they gave us. I don't feel like doing makeup since I'd sweat it off so I just changed and called an Uber. In the car I text Jayla to come for me when I'm done. It's gonna be a three hour long practice.
