Isabella's pov

It was now me, Javon, Jayla and Jaden in our fort. All of us decided to play a game to pass time. We all choose uno.

We did who ever touched their nose last while saying not it, had to shuffle the cards. "Jayla! You were last" Jaden pointed at her. She mumbled the word fine under her breath before going to pick up the cards.

We all got our 7 cards and began the game.
The game has a twist though whenever we played. There were teams. This time it was me and Jaden. Jayla and Javon. This version of the game has caused a lot of temper tantrums in the past.

The rules of *Uno Duo*
That's what we called it.

The goal is to get the rival team to have more cards

The two team mates mixes up their cards together to create a deck of 14 playing cards.

First team with no cards wins.
Like regular uno.

Me and Jaden mixed our cards together as Jayla and Javon did. We where first to go.

Jaden choose to put down a blue 2.
Javon and Jayla whisper to each other before putting down a skip, reverse, skip and plus 4. "The game just started!" I yell out. "Why does that matter? It doesn't say when I can put a plus 4." Javon says, as a smug look grew on his face. I just starred back at him.

Every time he looks at me it's has been making me feel more and more butterflies.

Time skip*

We where playing normally until Jayla and Javon put down a plus 4, thus began the chain of plus 4s.

Me and Jaden put one down so we wouldn't pick up but they kept coming at us.

"BRO HOW MANY PLUS 4S ARE YOU GONNA PUT!" Jaden yelled. I whispered to Jaden about what I was going to do before smirking as I put the last plus 4 down. "Pick up 16" i say as I gave them a cocky look, emphasizing the 16.

Jayla opened her mouth to say something but she just gave in and picked up the cards.

We kept playing until me and Jaden won.

"I KNEW WE'D WIN, YOU'RE  JUST HATING ASS BITCHES!" I yell out. Jaden threw all the cards in the air. "Don't toot your horn now Bella" Javon says. I immediately thought of a come back when he said that.

"Shut up peanut head. You're just mad"I say. He scoffed before replying. "your ass is sleeping outside the fort now". "I'll jus-" I was interrupted by him. "No. You're not sleeping on the bed" he says. I gave him a disappointed smile.

"Ok but who's gonna pick these cards up" Jayla says as she looks around at the mess. We all went to touch our noses and say not it. Jaden didn't get the memo. "You guys suck ass" he says. "Mhm says the one who made the mess" Jayla replied back.

As Jaden picks up the cards with a frown on his face Jayla called me over to her.

"Bella I have to talk to you" Jayla jesters me to meet her outside the fort.

"What's up?" I asked.

"It's about Sofia." Her words made me freeze. I knew I've been in peace for too long.

Something was bound to happen.

"She posted some things about you. Saying how your moms an alcoholic and that your a suicidal freak that's tried to kill her self multiple times." She informs me.

That bitch. This is why I have trust issues. Never would I ever think that she'd do this to me.

"Good thing I'm not in school right now. People would be talking about me but it doesn't matter anyway."
I tried to stay positive so i wouldn't ruin the mood with my attitude later.

"Isa its okay to be sad. You always try to shrug it off when we are here for you." she put her hand on my shoulder.

I managed to keep a smile until she said that. The eyes started to swell with tears.

She pulled me into a hug. I gave in and sat there crying into her shoulder. What the fuck is wrong with Sofia. She was like family to me and Christelli and everyone knows how it's just us and our mom here. Not even our mom.
It's just me and Christelli.

"I'm scared to seem vulnerable infront of others. I showed that side of me to Sofia and look where that got me!" My voice broke multiple times. "I try to shrug it off to not be a bother but holding it in all the time gets tiring! I just don't understand why'd she'd do this"

"That's why we are here. That's why your staying with us right now because we know how you are living. we will always support you guys mentally, physically, financially and in anything! I mean my mom even takes you to your auditions! She loves you!" Jayla said cheerfully. The last sentence made me smile. "Stop, Your moms too sweet" I say. "Go to the bathroom to clean yourself up. Come back whenever your ready." She tells me. I asked her to come with me and she obviously said yes.

Once I cleaned up my face we went back to the fort in Javons room. The twins were knocked out. I went to go and sleep outside when I heard Javon say "where are you going?" "I'm going to bed?" I say, confused.
"Bella get over here" he patted his hand on the extra sleeping bag next to him. "I was joking, I wouldn't let you sleep out there alone"

I go to lay down and he's turns his body to face me. Now we are face to face, my hand holding up my head. We kept staring at each other. Neither of us saying a word.

I could see the smile on his face form. I eventually dosed off. When Javon noticed he wrapped his arms around me, our heads now touching as he laid his on mine.

I was still awake with my eyes closed. After 10 minutes we were both asleep. I could stay here forever.
