There had been no need to panic as after punching the shark out of the clouds, Zoro had made his way back up the stairs, completely exhausted. "Damn. Guess we won't be swimming away from here." He had stated this, since it was clear it would be too dangerous, especially since there was three Devil Fruit users. And even if Iris was there she could only take two people at a time, at best.
"You punched that shark, yet you call yourself a swordsman." Nami had began criticising him about how he defeated the shark, while Iris had gone down the stairs, heading for the cabins.
"Zoro is so strong!" While Chopper was looking at him as he was his hero.
"Whatever happened to your pride as a swordsman?" As the navigator continued.
"Shut your trap, woman!" Zoro ended up snapping at her as he pulled off his damped shirt. Soon after a large amount of fins began suffering from the lake around the altar.
"There wasn't just one! There's still a bunch of Skysharks!" They had been more of the sharks hanging around.
"If I fight each on of them, we'll be here until nightfall." This had been stated by the swordsman. "We'll never get to the shore like that."
"Indeed. And we can't stay here forever." Robin spoken up, agreeing with him.
"Couldn't Iris just blow them away herself?" The navigator spoken up, asking this since Iris could easily deal with them with her Devil Fruit.
"Maybe, but that still won't solve are current predicament." The archaeologist responds as she made her way off the ship, along side Zoro as they were looking around.
"He really screwed us over... that big shrimp." the man stated, ringing out his shirt.
"Perhaps Heaven's Judgment is to let us starve here." This idea had been suggested.
"I really doubt that this God Enel is that simple." They looked up to see Iris gracefully landing between to two as she spoke. "Here." She handed a blue top to Zoro, as this had been the reason she went below deck.
"I don't know. Ive never met him." As she turned to Robin, she was told this.
"That looks pretty bad." But then Zoro had said this, causing them to glance towards him as he was looking at the ship that was in pretty bad shape. "With the hull looking like that, we can't set it in the water. Think of a way to repair her int he meantime, Chopper." He had taken charge while speaking up to Chopper, who was looking down at him from the ship.
"Huh? Me? Okay..." he was a little confused about this, but agreed.
"Repair the ship? What are you going to do?" Nami was along side him, asked this of Zoro.
"I wanna go check out the forest." This was being explained as he pulled on the tank top. "We might as well use this spot as a base for now."
"Yeah that would be better." Iris had spoken up in agreement. "Luffy and the others should be heading this way as we speak." That was how she left them, heading off to find a ship while she followed the Going Merry.
"Yeah, you know what they say. If you get lost, don't move." Zoro said this line, but they all knew how this line should be applied to the most.
"You're the one who shouldnt move!" While they were talking amongst each other, Iris had noticed Robin walking off, around the ship to where the large wall was located.
"Hey, Zoro... You said you're going into the forest... but what are you going to do there?" This question was being asked by Chopper as he was curious.
"God's on this island, right? Im gonna go meet him." He answered at it was expected.
"Stop right there!" Needless to say that someone wasn't happy. "Why would yu want to meet someone with such horrible power!?"
"Who knows... that depends on his attitude." Was the response he gave, pretty much stating that he would attack 'God' if he felt like it.
"Do you not think you are being more arrogant than this God?" Iris came to asked him, her head tilted to the side."
"Those Priests are on this island too! And you're never supposed to anger God! That's just common sense!" The navigator was shouting, forgetting that most of those on their crew lacked even the most basic common sense. It was the reason they always got into troubling and dangerous situations. In common point, Zoro had glanced over his shoulder up at her with a smirk across his face.
"Sorry, I've... never prayed to God." He stated this.
"OHHH! SO COOL~!!" And of course, Chopper was sparkling in amazement as Nami beside him looked at him like he was crazy.
"I don't believe in him, so why should I pray to him?" This had then been asked by the swordsman.
"I mean, you have a point there." Iris could understand his logic as she herself never believed in God either, because no matter how much she prayed to him in the past for help she never got it.
"Oh, Lord God, I do not know this man. Please don't punish me with him!" Then there was Nami that had began praying with tears in her eyes.
"YOU'RE SO COOL, ZORO~!"
"Anyway, would you mind taking me across?" The swordsman turned to his lover, the angel, asking this.
"I don't." She responded with a soft smile.
"So you mind if I come along, Mr. Swordsman? Ms. Angel?" The pair glanced towards the dark hair woman that was once again walking over to join them.
"Huh?" Zoro had glanced over to Iris for how she felt, and clearly she didn't look like she mind. "Fine, just don't get in the way."
"Wait!" But on the other hand, Nami ran to the side where she could see Robin. "Where are you going, Robin?" This had come to be asked.
"Look at this." The woman did not answer straight away as she turned back to the wall with scripture that the others couldn't read. "It's been at least 1000 years since this altar was constructed."
"1-1000?"
"Something this historic makes me throb with excitement." This had been the reason she wanted to go with Zoro and Iris, because she wanted to find out more. "A place with such deep history must have many relics to be discovered." She had taken a step back as she turned towards Nami, smiling. "If we find some jewel shards, it may be a big help to our ship." That single sentence had caused someone to change instantly.
"I'm going too!" The navigator raised her hand, volunteering to go as well.
"WHAT!? DIDN'T YOU SAY YOU WERE SCARED!?" Which caused Chopper beside her to be completely shocked at her sudden change.
"We're going to dig up some history." But it was clear by her eyes that taken to form of belis her true intentions.
"Then..." Iris wings had sprouted out from her back. "Who would like to go first?"
