Finding out that Upper Yard was actually a part of Jaya was a huge discovery. It meant that the island that was thought to have sinked hundreds of years ago hadn't. It also meant one more thing, that the City of Gold was on the island. "Thank you, God!!" Nami screamed this at the top of her lungs in joy. "Enduring all that suffering to get to Sky Island... and then finding out it was the City of Gold!" Of course she would be delighted at this fact, since it would mean a lot of money if they found even a small piece of gold. "This must be a reward for being such a good girl, right? God~!"
"Hey, I thought you were scared of this island's God." Listening to her had caused Zoro to look at her in disbelief.
"Eh? God? What good is he? Is he worth more than gold?" Now the other two had joined him as sweat rolled down.
"Didn't you just say, 'Thank you, God'?" Her attitude and words change so fast, not to mention never add up.
"Sometimes you are a confusing person, nami." They just couldn't believe how she reacts. With everything said and done with, the group decided to head back before it gets too late. By the time they returned to the altar, where the Going Merry was still on top of, the sun was about to fall. "Chopper!" Nami called out to the altar once they had reached the lake that it was located at the centre of. "Where are you?" They wasn't any response. "Did something happen, Chopper? Answer me!"
"Oi, the Merry's master is gone." This had been pointed out as the main mast wasn't in sight. "What kind of remodelling did he do?"
"It is clearly not the case." Iris stated to him since there was no way Chopper would remove the mast.
"Chopper! Sorry we took so long! You can come out now!" Nami called out to him once again, trying to tell him it was safe. "You're there, right!? Stop hiding! Answer me, Chopper!" However, these was still no answer which was slightly concerning.
"Perhaps he was torn limb from limb." And when Robin said that, it made it worse.
"Quit thinking of these scary things!" Which caused her to be snapped at by the navigator.
"I'll go." Iris had pulled out her wings and was flew over to the altar quickly. She landed on the deck and saw that the Merry had been burnt in places. "Chopper, are you there?" She began calling out to him, the sound of the door opening caused her head to turn towards the storage room and a moment later Chopper's head poked out. Seeing him caused her to kneel down and smile at him softly. The little reindeer was covered in bandages as he clearly had been fighting someone. The moment he saw Iris, he ran over to her in tears like a child seeing its mother. "It's alright." She began soothing him as he was in her arms. "You did a very good job. You're very strong and brave." But in that moment.
"Gum Gum; Gatling Guns!" A familiar voice shouted, causing all to turn and see Skysharks being sent flying.
"We're soaking wet!" A strange black bird with an umbrella on it appeared and along with it was
"Hey, look! We found 'em! It's the Going Merry! That must be the Altar!" Luffy, waving as his other hand was wrapped around the bird's neck.
"Hi, Nami-swan~! Robin, my sweet~! Iris, my angel~! Did you miss me~?" Sanji, in front of the steering wheel. "I've overcome the Ordeal of Love!"
"What? Was that the only Ordeal we had to endure?"
"Were you guys scared? Rest east now that Captain Usopp is here!" And Usopp at the back waving and being his normal self.
"It's seems that they are alright." Iris chucked as they clearly all pretty much the same, other than looking like they had been in a battle themselves. After picking up Zoro and the others from the shoreline, they returned back to the altar and now once again back together. Chopper had explained how the ship ended up in this state. "The mast's... gone." Although, someone seemed to be shocked as he was standing in front of the missing mast.
"Um, Usopp... I'm sorry." The one in charge of the ship while the other's were gone was standing beside him, looking nervous. "I fought with everything I had, but... Everything was catching on fire, and..."
"Hey, are you alright?" But instead of yelling, Usopp turned to him, worried as he looked at the bandages on him.
"Yeah..." Chopper had been a little surprised by the question but answered while nodding.
"That guy with the burning lance must've been pretty dangerous." The long nose sighed before saying that. "But at least he didn't burn you up too!" He began laughing over to him before walking off. "We'll think about the ship later." Hearing this was about to make Chopper began crying again, but then he stopped and quickly climbed up the side of the Merry.
"I'm going be a man who EVERYONE can depend on!" This was being declared as he was burning with a fire of passion and determination. On the other hand...
"There, there." Iris was patting Usopp on the back, as she knew it was taking all his strength not to burst into tears.
"Oi, Chopper! How'd you get rid of that Priest?" Luffy came to ask this question as the doctor didn't mention being able to defeat the Priest. The question had caused him to remember something.
"I blew the whistle. The Knight of the Sky came to help me." He came to answer after calming down his flames of determination.
"Where's the weird Knight Guy now?" The question had been followed, causing Chopper to be reminded of something again. A moment later, the moved inside where Chopper brought Ganfall, who was serially injured due to the battle, and his partner Pierre were which had been in the kitchen deck. "Just for using that one whistle blow he gave us for free, he fought this hard for us." Luffy was crouching down beside him as he lay unconscious on the other side of the man was Iris, kneeling as her hands were glowing while they were placed on his chest over the blank.
"If the Knight of the Sky hadn't come, the ship and I would both be long gone." Chopper expressed this to them as they watched Iris trying to help as best as she could after he had been treated by their small doctor.
"There's a lot I wanna ask him, but it can wait until he wakes up." Sanji had stated this, hands in his pocket and cigarette in mouth. "And we own you some thanks too." He stated, glancing to Pierre that acted embarrassed. The room had then fell silent as they just stood staring, but then out of nowhere Luffy grabbed the unconscious knight's beard
"Luffy!"
"I'm sorry." Everyone turned to Iris that removed her hands. "I think for now this is all I can do." She informed them of this.
"With the ship in this condition and night approaching, we wont be able to get back to Angel Island until tomorrow." Important matters had been brought up by the cook. They had then left the room to talk with everyone, as Zoro, Robin and Usopp had waited outside in case they were attacked. "For the time being, let's go into the forest and set up camp near the shore."
"Why?" Not understanding why they couldn't stay on the ship, the captain asked this.
"If a fight broke out here, we'd end up damaging the ship even more." This had come to be explained by Usopp, if the ship go anymore damage they might not be able to sail with her. "You should think about things like that!"
"It would also be a lot easier to battle on the shoreline, than on the ship." Iris pointed this out to the others as well. "Just think of it as camping." The moment she told them that.
"Alright, camping!" Both Luffy and Chopper were jumping up in excitement. "Party!" Although, someone seemed to have another plan along with it.
"Oi, wait a second! We're in enemy territory here! You wanna go camping?!" This had been given as a reminder.
"Yosh, let's start by barbecuing there Skysharks!"
