The group of four had entered the forest with bag packs across their backs. They were following a river they found, walking along side it while climbing over the tall roots belonging to the trees which surrounded them. "So where's God?" Zoro had grown inpatient as it had been some time since they've been walking and yet there was no sign of anyone other than them.
"Being God, he may already be watching our movements." Robin came to point this out as she was at the back of the group.
"That might be the case." Iris could see the reasoning behind the woman's words.
"This wouldn't take half as long if he'd just get his ass over here." Zoro stated in annoyance as he gripped the to of his swords het.
"I'm fine with him right where he is!" After jumping to the ground, Nami shouted this. "What do I have to say to make you listen? This island's good is wrathful!"
"I do have to admit, even I was quite frightened by the amount of power I witnessed." This had come to be admitted by Iris as she recalled the lightning pillar that struck down when she and Nami had found themselves on the shore line of Upper Yard.
"Oh, Lord God, please have mercy on us..." once again, the navigator began praying with tears falling down her face. "Oh! And please help me to find lots of treasure." Not forgetting the reason she came with the three.
"You had to end it with that!" None of them were surprised that this part had been added at the end. "Anyway, just walking along the river isn't getting us anywhere." Zoro had moved towards the river, speaking. "Let's cross the river and check things out on the other side."
"Good idea." He had been agreed by both Iris and Robin.
"Then I guess we'll been flown across again..." before any of them knew it, the ground under Nami's foot had caved in enough for her to lose her balance and she began falling towards the river and at the very same time a skyshark shot out from it. With only a second to react Zoro grabbed her, throwing her back with force that she was heading right for a tree, but Robin's arms had sprouted out from the tree softening the impact. As for the shark... Light had pieced right through its head, killing it instantly.
"Those annoying bastards are here too!?" Zoro shouted in both shock and anger.
"I quit! I'm not crossing that river even if Iris' flys us across!" They all turned to the navigator on her knees, terrified. "I refuse to get eaten by a pack of Skysharks!" She was shouted as more appeared, their fines above surface as they swan back and forth.
"But, we need to search the other side of the river too." Although he should have known it was pointless, Zoro tried to instruct her.
"No means no!" She looked up at him, about to cry. "If you want to go so badly, Zoro, go by yourself!"
"Huh? If you're that scared, you shouldn't have come in the first place!" This had began a shouting match between the pair.
"Guys, that's enough." Iris had to step in between, trying to calm them down.
"Hey." But the three stopped as they heard Robin call out to them. "The ground here..." They saw her hand placed on the ground, rubbing it.
"Is there something wrong with it?" The angel was asking, confused.
"It's soil." The archaeologist stated like it was a shock.
"Well, obviously. It's the ground." Nami didn't understand why the woman was shocked. However, she wasn't the only one as they were staring at her.
"This is Sky Island." This had been a reminded and slowly it began hitting the others.
"She's got a point." Zoro stated looking down at the ground. "It's not fluffy at all." He was stomping his held down.
"You're right." Iris kneeled down, looking at the ground closely. "It's not that Island Cloud from before."
"It feels like ages since I've felt soil like this." While Nami ended up scoping up some soil, smiling as if she had missed it. "So why is this island different?"
"Whatever the case, it seems there are mysterious islands even among those in the sky." They were once again looking at Robin that was speaking. "There seems to be a great deal worth investigating."Despite Nami's earlier protest she had managed to be convinced by Iris to be flown across the river. The angel flew both the navigator and archaeologist across first, then went back for the swordsman and she couldn't help but notice Robin staring off into the distance. "Is everything alright, Robin?" She came to ask as Zoro landed on the ground from her arms.
"You find God or something?" The swordsman asked as Iris landed beside him, her wings retreating into her shoulders.
"No... There's a well." The woman had answered them, and she seemed a little bit out of it.
"A well?" The three watched as Robin began walking away, heading for what she had seen.
"What the hell is up with her?" It took them a moment before they began following her. "Wondering off by herself... She's so self-centred." Zoro stated this as his arm was hooked up with Iris.
"You're calling someone else self-centred?" After hearing that, Nami couldn't help but be annoyed. "I'd never put up with that crap from you."
"Huh?"
"I have a feeling we're having a lot of unnecessary trouble because of you." He looked like he wanted to say something.
"Really?" But for some reason he couldn't help but get the feeling she was right.
"But something is strange about this." Iris spoken up, leaning on the man's shoulder, watching Robin ahead of them.
"What's strange?" The other two glanced to her, asking.
"It kind of feels like we're being watched." She stated this, glancing around them, not feeling a pressure other than their own, and yet still felt like they were being watched.
"D-Don't say something so scary!" And obviously, Nami screamed at her in fear as this place was already scary enough as it was, only to then be told they're being watched. The three had made it to the well that Robin had spoke about, where they found her taking samples from the bottom of the well with the help of her Devil Fruit.
"Is that well really that unusual?" She had been asked by Zoro, who couldn't understand why she was so interested in it.
"Yes, it's unthinkable for the tree to be over talking it like this." This had been stated for his answer. "The balance between nature and civilisation had been upset."
"Well, whatever it is, we'll never got to meet God." Zoro was stating at he was getting a little annoyed.
"The civilisation didn't expect this tree to grow so large." But Robin had continued to analyse. "This is the first time I've ever seen such a case."
"Oi, Nami! Iris!" The swordsman began shouting as he looked up. "See anything from up there!?" The reason he was shouting up the tree was because the two of them had been flown up there thanks to Iris and were looking out to find something.
"The Island Where God Resides, Upper Yard..." Nami was sitting down on the large branch, that would be normal size of a trunk, was looking into a pair of binoculars as she looked out.
"Nami?" Iris, who was standing behind her noticed how she suddenly began acting a bit odd.
"Oi, I'm talking to you! Say something!" And since he didn't get a response, Zoro began shouting up to them again. "Do you see God!?"
"Maybe they see something." Robin suggested as neither of them responded again.
"What did you see?" The angel kneeled down beside the navigator that pulled the binoculars down, looking shook.
"Could this island be...?"
