With the crew spit off into two groups, one taking the Going Merry which included Nami, Sanji, Usopp, Pierre and Ganfall who was still recovering. While the second group; Luffy, Zoro, Iris, Chopper and Robin, were heading for the location where the City of Gold should be located. That group at the moment well... "Oi! Where are you going, Zoro!?" Already had someone getting lost. "That;s the wrong way! West is this way!" Luffy, who is normally just as bad in directions was pointing in the opposite way that Zoro was heading off to. "Man, your sense of direction surprises even me!" The captain he began walking in the direction he pointed while being watched.
"West? That way's east!" Chopper was shocked as he was saying that to himself watching at the two of them.
"Oi, Luffy! Weren't you listening!?" Zoro had began rubbing his temped annoyed. "We're going to the skull's right eye so we have to go right! You moron!" That seemed to be his logic in all this.
"I can see why his says that, but his heading left not right." Iris stated as she was standing beside Robin as Chopper was in front of them.
"We're trying to go south." The archaeologist stated as she spoke to the little doctor. "Would you go tell them this is the way we want to go?" She came to ask him.
"Yosh, no problem." He didn't refuse as he ran over to the two men.
"This might take longer than Nami thought." The angel spoken as they watch Chopper running over to them.
"That might be the case." It seemed that she was in an agreement with her.
"Zoro! Luffy!" The reindeer had reached them where he explained which why they were heading.
"What? South? Why didn't you say so?" They began heading back towards the women, Robin began walking south being followed by them.
"The weather's so nice today~" Luffy was humming loudly as he was swinging around a long stink in his hand.
"Luffy, that's a great stick!" It seemed that Chopper couldn't help but admire it.
"You bet! But you can't have it! Gotta find your own!" He seemed proud of this and it caused Iris to chuckle as she was glancing at him as she was walking along side Zoro.
"Aw... I want one... stick! Stick!" It was then when he took off to find one.
"What's so great about a stick?" The swordsman just couldn't understand their behaviour.
"Oh, just let them be." The angel was still chuckling, her arms had wrapped around his bicep as they walked.
"I thought that this forest... would be scarier! What? It's not that bad!" Chopper had managed to find himself a stick as he was now at the back of the group, swinging it away chipper.
"Hey, Chopper. You gonna be brave today?" Luffy was looking back over his shoulder to him, asking this.
"Yep!" Which he answered laughing with overconfident. But mainly because he felt safer with these four, who were all over powering.
"Seriously, this had been a disappointment." However, unlike the little reindeer, the swordsman didn't expect it to be this boring. "When we entered the forest yesterday, there wasn't anything here. We didn't meet a single Priest. I know how you feel, Chopper."
"I don't think you do." Iris on the other hand disagreed with that, leaning her head on his shoulder while walking.
"Such strange people." While the head of the group, Robin couldn't help by finding them slightly amusing. "Are you really that eager for an accident to happen?" She came to ask them. Chopper just a large grin across his face still laughing when he suddenly came to a stop.
"It's moving..." he suddenly spoken shock.
"What's moving, Chopper?" The captain ask as they were still walking.
"Huh? Oh, nothing. Nothing important." He responded as he started walking once again. Iris glanced behind to see that he was sweating a lot. However, there was something else....
"There's a rather strange presence here." Robin spoken up as they were continuing.
"That's true, I feel it too." Which the Angel agreed as she looked back to the front.
"Chopper, why do you keep looking behind you?" Zoro came to ask this as he noticed his strange behaviour.
"It-It's nothing! Nothing at all!" He seemed a bit hesitant upon asking this.
"What's that funny-looking striped tree root?" However, this question had suddenly been asked by Luffy that was looking behind Chopper.
"Yeah! It's pretty weird, isn't it?" This time everyone turned around and notice that it was also moving.
"Why's a tree root moving?" This question had been followed as they were calmly watching it moving.
"Yeah! I actually noticed it before, and..." before anything more could be said, the ground began rumbling.
"W-What!?" The striped tree roots had turned into a large scale python that was a head of them. It's roar was loud and cased it's tongue to stick out as it's large fangs were seen. "Run, it's a python!" Despite the situation, Luffy still seemed to be enjoying it as he was running with a large grin. Everyone had taken off running, other than Iris who was flying above them.
"I've never seen a python that huge before." She stated this while glancing back to it.
"Is this another result of Sky Island's environment?" Robin below her had wondered this as she was pretty taken back by its size as she ran. Sick and tied of running...
"You some kind of catfish!?" Zoro had stopped and turned to it, ready to draw his swords. However, it came right at him before he knew it not giving him enough time to attack because he had to avoid it. "How does something that bog move so fast?" He had managed to jump into a tree as he avoided it. The python was heading for Luffy and Chopper, who was in tears, Iris had come and swooped in, grabbing them both by their bag packs. While Robin had followed suit as she sprouted legs out from the tree trunk that she jumped up to a branch. The python's fangs ended up wrapped around a tree. All eyes widen as they watch the trunk that the python had its fangs around began steaming. It was when it removed itself that they witness that most of the trunk had melted away.
"VENOM!" Chopper was as white as a ghost as he handed in the air.
"I think this calls for a tactical retreat." Iris came to suggested this as she was holding both Chopper and Luffy.
"Indeed."
"SCARY!" However, their captain looked like he was having a blast. "Let me down!" He wanted to be put down which the angel released him and Chopper.
"Don't let the venom touch you! It'll be instant death!" Zoro was shouting at them all, as that tree was coming down.
"Oi, Poison Python! I'm up here!" The reason Luffy wanted to be let down was because he wanted to play with it. "Come and get me!" Swing from a branch to gain its attention. "Your food's getting away!" The python had began heading towards him, however, noticed Robin above him.
"Robin, watch out!" It had shot up at her which caused her to leap into the air.
"Cinco Fleur!" (Five Flowers, Spanish) her arms had sprouted out from another tree which she grabbed and used like a vine. "Nice try!"
"Robin, that was cool!" Being completely distracted by her, Chopper hadn't moved and the python locked eyes with him. In an instant he turned to Walk Point and took off running for his life.
"Yosh, I've circled around to its tail..." Then there was Zoro who had appeared right in front of its face. "Shit." It come right at him.
"Ieró Vélos!" (Holy Arrow, Greek) Before it had attacked, an arrow of like pierced its cheeks causing it to willow in pain. Before it turned to anger and came right at Iris who had fired it. She took off flying off to who knows where it chased after her. "It appears that I've lost it." Iris had finally managed to shake off the large python, landing on a tree to catch her breath for a moment. "Wait... where am I?" She then began looking around her surroundings to notice that she was alone. "Where are the others? Am I lost?"
