After having been left both women began glaring down at one another, ready for the battle. "I won't hold back!" The first one to strike had been Ameyalli, tightly holding her sword, as she rapidly aims her attack towards Iris.
"I would be insulted if you did." Iris quickly rises her sword, clashing with Ameyalli once again. However, Ameyalli manages to push Iris back with the impact of their collision. Performing a back somersault, Iris pushed off her free hand to land back on her feet. She took her sword in both hands before taking a quick breath then in that breath second she had appeared right in front of Ameyalli before swinging her sword in 6 different ways. However, the woman had swiftly dodged it with the slightest movements by leaping into the air above. "Impact!" Before she lunged at down at Iris below, prepares to strike, swings her sword and the moment it hit the something a large duct cloud formed while destroying much of the surrounding ground upon impact. Iris managed to dodge any serious damage however, the blasted caused by the impact was large. But when she noticed Ameyalli about to strike her once again.
"Agía..." Iris held out her hands that began glowing. "...Aspída!" (Holy Shield, Greek) A large shield of light appeared in front of her palms that she held out in front of her.
"Slice!" However, when Ameyalli's blade had meet with the shield. Despite her attempt to block the incoming attack, her efforts prove to be futile nonetheless as Ameyalli dives down on her, the light shield had shuddered to pieces, as if it were glass.
"How did she...?" Iris couldn't believe she was able to break the shield.
"You survived, huh?" While Ameyalli seemed surprised that she remained standing. The two women were rushing and leaping through the forest. Trying to one up the other with their blades. However, it was as if they were evenly matched. The two of them had came to a stop upon reaching what appeared to a ruin where they were staring each other down. "I'm surprised. I didn't expect you to fight me on even footing, given that it should be hard for you to breathe here." The gorilla stated towards the angel, since Blue Sea Dwellers weren't used to the thin air in the sky, so they should have a hard time breathing.
"Oddly enough, I don't feel that way." Iris stated as she was rubbing the back of her neck as she spoke. "But I think the reason you're so strong is because of your anger and hatred towards that priest."
"Shut up! What the hell do you know?!" Enraged by her comment Ameyalli had dashed for her, blinded by red and anger. "This land used to belong to our people. Hundreds years ago, our ancestors had been sent into the sky without warning." As she was speaking she was swinging her sword around at Iris that was blocking each on of them, as it was clear that the woman had lost to her anger. "The bastards of the sky attacked and forced us off our land." The two had clashed swords and were pushing down, their face's inches apart. "Bertha, she was one of us. She grew up listening to the truth and yet when Enel came to us and offered to make us his servants to mock us, she bowed to him!" Ameyalli was so focused on her anger for Iris in that moment that she hadn't noticed the sphere created from Bertha's Devil Fruit had formed behind her. Iris on the other hand noticed it.
"Hey, look out!"
