It was the middle of the night when Y/N stirred from her sleep, her throat dry. The room was eerily quiet, and the moonlight filtered in through the curtains, casting faint silver patterns on the walls. Thirsty, she reached for the glass of water sitting on her bedside table and took a few refreshing sips. As she placed the glass back, something caught her attention—a faint rumbling sound from outside. It was unmistakable. Her dad's car engine.

Curiosity piqued, Y/N crept to the window and peered through a narrow slit in the curtains. Her father and brother stood by the car, illuminated by the soft glow of the streetlights. Their movements were quick and purposeful. She knew they were involved in something mysterious, something they always kept hidden. But what exactly? She had no idea.

Tonight, though, felt different. Her pulse quickened with excitement as she realized they were about to head out. The familiar urge to know overwhelmed her and a mischievous grin slowly spread across her face. Since childhood, she had longed for a moment like this, a chance to discover their secrets. Tonight, she wouldn't let it slip away.

Determined, Y/N tiptoed downstairs, her heart pounding in her chest as she tried not to make a sound. Her electric bicycle was parked outside, just waiting to be used. She grabbed it quickly, all while watching her father's car slowly pull out of the driveway. Namjoon, her brother, had just stepped inside the house, leaving the perfect opportunity for her to follow unnoticed.

Without hesitation, Y/N mounted the bike and kicked off, maintaining a cautious distance behind the car. The night air was cool against her skin, and the streets were deserted, amplifying the hum of her bicycle. She felt a rush of adrenaline. This was it. She was finally going to find out where they were going and what they were hiding.

Her father's car turned down a dark, unfamiliar road, and Y/N, determined to keep up, kept her distance but stayed close enough to not lose sight of him. Her heart raced not just from the ride, but from the thrill of uncovering the truth.

The night was still, with the faint hum of streetlights and the occasional distant bark of a stray dog. Y/N crouched in the shadows, her heart racing as she watched from afar. She had followed her father through winding streets until they reached an empty, dimly lit alley. Y/N's father drove slowly, his heart heavy with suspicion as the black sedan came to a halt. An old man stood in the distance, leaning against the brick wall of an abandoned building, a faint glow of his cigar illuminating his weathered face. As Y/N's father approached, he recognized the figure—Mr. Jeon Won Shik, a man deeply tied to the underworld, is notorious and feared. But y/n didn't even know who he was.

Y/N's father stepped out, approaching cautiously." Mr.Jeon, nice meeting you. What's with the sudden call for a meeting?" he saidMr. Jeon took a slow drag of his cigar, exhaling a cloud of smoke before replying, "I don't know. My son called me here Hyun Jo.Y/N's father stiffened, taken aback by the response."Jungkook asked us to come here. Why? This feels suspicious..."

Before he could finish, a sudden crack pierced the night—a gunshot, sharp and deadly.Y/N's breath caught in her throat as she saw it—the bullet—heading straight for Mr. Jeon. Her body froze in fear, but before her mind could process what was happening, a masked figure appeared from nowhere, yanking Mr. Jeon aside just in time. The bullet missed by a hair's breadth. Who is that?

The masked man didn't waste a second. He drew his gun and fired back in the direction the bullet had come from. Y/N's eyes darted, trying to track the action, but everything was happening so fast. A scream echoed through the alley—someone was hit. Her hands gripped the edge of her bike so tightly that her knuckles turned white. She wanted to run, but her feet wouldn't move. She was trapped in place, watching this nightmare unfold.
