Y/N'S POV:

The next day, anticipation bubbled within me as I stepped out of the shower, water droplets still clinging to my skin. Wrapping a towel around myself, I felt fresh, invigorated—excited. A small smile teased at my lips as I thought about what lay ahead.

A day with Jungkook. Just us. No security. No interruptions.

As I opened the bathroom door, I nearly jumped back when I found Julia standing there, a playful grin on her face, holding up a dress.

"Surprise!" she beamed. "Jungkook sent this over. He wants you to wear it today—said it'll look amazing on you."

I blinked, momentarily speechless, before my gaze fell on the dress—a black sundress, simple yet breathtaking, its soft fabric catching the light just right.

"Wow," I murmured, touched beyond words. He picked this out for me?

"Go on, try it on!" Julia urged, practically vibrating with excitement.

With her encouragement, I quickly slipped into the dress. The moment the fabric settled against my skin, I felt different—elegant, beautiful. I twirled in front of the mirror, watching the hem flutter, and a giddy thrill shot through me. He wanted me to wear this.

As I stepped into the living room, Jungkook was waiting, his back turned to me. He was dressed casually in a black T-shirt and baggy jeans, and yet, somehow, he looked insanely good.

His dark hair fell messily over his forehead, his jawline was sharp enough to cut glass, and his entire aura was effortlessly him—confident, magnetic, and unbelievably handsome.

When he turned, his eyes met mine—and for a second, he just stared.

"Wow," he breathed, his gaze sweeping over me, lingering. "You look... incredible."

Heat rushed to my cheeks, warmth spreading through my chest. "Thanks. But you're the one who looks amazing. Seriously, how do you manage to look this good in something so simple?"

Jungkook chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck, but the way his lips curled upward told me he liked the compliment.

"It's a crime to look this good," I blurted out before I could stop myself.

His head snapped up, and his smirk widened. "Oh? So you admit it?"

I groaned, covering my face. "I take it back—"

"Nope, too late," he teased, stepping closer. "You just said I look that good."

I peeked at him through my fingers and sighed dramatically. "Fine. You win."

His laughter rang out, rich and warm, as he reached for my hand. "Ready to go?"

I nodded, my heart racing. "Yeah. Let's do this."

The sun kissed my skin as we stepped outside, the golden light making everything feel almost dreamlike.

There were no bodyguards, no cameras, no constant watchful eyes. It was just us, and for the first time, I felt the freedom of being with Jungkook as if we were just two normal people stealing a day away from the world.

We walked hand in hand toward his car, our fingers lacing together like they belonged that way. I felt a small squeeze—his silent reassurance that he was just as happy as I was.
