(Might be a bit crack-y, I'm on my last brain cell so bare with me here)
(Third person pov)
(Lobby)
Astro was sitting in the main lobby, feeling a bit lonely. He wasn't allowed to work in the lab since he had the sniffles, so instead he worked in the lobby. A few toons were hanging around, the atmosphere dense and eery.
It always had been ever since the disappearance of the main toons and the start of the new ichor experiments. A certain Flutter knock off hated it the most.
Val was swinging her legs back and forth impatiently, sitting on a bench in the lobby, fidgeting with a few letter blocks. She stacked them on top of each other, then knocked them over. Turning around, she saw Astro. She gasped softly, a smile growing on her face.
One of her favorite people! She wanted to hang out with him! Astro didn't notice her, too busy writing on the clipboard he was holding, occasionally sneezing and sniffling.
Val skipped over to him, giggling to herself. "Heya Astro! How are you?" She asked cheerfully, leaning over his shoulder to see what he was doing. He jumped, turning the clipboard away from her. "O-oh, I'm just fine...thanks for asking....." "that's good to hear, I'm doing great too! Wanna hang out??" "Listen, Val, I'm uh- I'm a bit busy, so if you could just leave, please-"
Val frowned slightly. Why was Astro pushing her away? "I'm sure you're not too busy to talk to me!" "I am, actually..." "Come on, Astro! Do you wanna go on a run with me?" "I can't at the moment." "Pleeeeeaseeee??" "I can't, Val." He started to get frustrated. Val didn't notice.
"We can do this little project of yours together!" "You wouldn't understand." "Maybe I can just hang out with you?" "I'll be distracted." "Can we talk for just a moment?" "Not enough time." "Are you sure you don't need help?" Astro's anger started to show on his face.
"Yes, Val, I'm sure. Can you please go bother Solene or something? I need to get this done. Please go." Val shrugged, turning away and skipping off. She would go back to Astro later, since they were such good friends!
Little did she know there was a silly little rainbow yandere flower watching the whole thing. (<3)
