Hiro looked at his watch and saw that it was 5pm, there was no way he was going to be done by 5.30 and what had Ronni said,  that if he wasn't done by 5.30 he was going to fetch him? did the guy even know where he worked, maybe Kitt had clued him in?

For someone who didn't want anything to do with a person, he had certainly gone out of his way to dress smartly in the lightweight tan pants, a cream coloured button up and caramel sweater which he draped loosely around his shoulders.

He continued to type up the report that he was working on before taking a sip of his cold coffee and pulling a face and then he resumed his work before smiling and sending the file to his superior whose office was at the far side of the large open plan space then Hiro looked at the time on his screen, it was 5.27pm, he'd made it after all.

He shut down his computer and stood up to gather his things as his superior came out of his office and walked across to him.

"Hiro, the file you just sent me has errors, you need to redo it and where is the report for Wednesday's presentation?"

"you told me that this report was more important and to do the other report afterwards and I don't see how there can be errors, I only typed up what you wrote" Hiro replied.

"are you being disrespectful right now? ... it doesn't matter who did what, you are supposed to check it through for errors and rectify them, that's your job"

"but what if I alter something I shouldn't and get into trouble for altering your work? if there are any come backs, I'm the one who will get the flack" Hiro replied.

"look, stop arguing with me and get it redone and you're not going home until it's finished!"

"but I have an appointment and I'm already late" Hiro said looking at the clock on the office wall and seeing it was a quarter to six.

"tough, work comes first Hiro you should know that, it's no wonder you never get put forward for promotions with your attitude, it stinks"

"on the contrary, I think you will find that it's your attitude that stinks" an angry voice spoke from beside them both.

They looked across the room and Hiro saw Ronni advancing on them, a pissed off look on his face as he glared at Hiro's superior.

"are you ready Hiro?" Ronni addressed him.

"no, I need to do more work" Hiro replied.

"I'll rephrase it, get your things because we're leaving ..." Ronni growled.

"who the hell are you to come onto my floor and start giving orders?" Hiro's superior spoke up.

Ronni slipped his hand into the lining pocket of his jacket and pulled out a business card before handing it to Hiro's superior who looked at it then his eyes widened in shock as his face paled.

"it's ok Hiro, you can go and you can finish this up in the morning"

"they are your errors, you should fix them!" Ronni said.

"oh, yes of course, I'll fix it this time Hiro so you go and enjoy your evening" his superior said as he turned to walk away.

"wait ... are you new here?" Ronni asked Hiro's superior.

"yes Mr ..."

"you should treat your employee's with respect if you want to be respected yourself" Ronni said cutting his words off then he took Hiro's elbow and escorted him to the elevator.

"I won't ask you if you had a good day" Ronni said to Hiro as they went down to the main entrance.

"how did you know where I worked?" Hiro had to ask.
