Chapter 10 ~ meeting the in-laws ~

Several days later, Hiro was in the office making coffee for the three of them while Ronni was participating in a zoom call with buyers in Italy.

Hiro didn't speak Italian so he wasn't sure what was being said but the conversation came across as calm and friendly so he was sure that nothing bad was being said and he stirred the coffees quietly before slipping one onto Ronni's desk while keeping out of sight.

Ronni looked up and smiled at him in thanks then Hiro took a coffee out to Miss Anunan who whispered back to him,

"is he still on his zoom call?" she asked.

"yes but I don't know what they are saying" Hiro shrugged.

"he's trying to win them over for a big contract with their company, it's worth millions" Miss Anunan said.

"I didn't realise how hard he works" Hiro said to her.

"yeah, he's a good boss, I worked for many different companies before coming here and the C.E.Os were jerks but Mr Witchattakam is right up there"

"well yeah, he lives in a penthouse" Hiro laughed a little too loudly making Ronni look up from his meeting.

"shhhhh" Miss Anunan whispered placing her finger to her lips and then they both chatted while they drank their coffee.

"Hiro, in here now!" Ronni barked out.

"shiyaa, I must be in trouble for making too much noise" Hiro whispered before taking Miss Anunan's empty cup and heading back into Ronni's office.

"close the door!" Ronni barked again.

"Hiro closed the door and walked across to Ronni's desk,

"I'm sorry for making too much noise boss" Hiro said.

"that's ok Hiro, there's only about a third of a billion baht at stake but hey, as long as you can flirt with my secretary" Ronni glared at him.

"I wasn't flirting" Hiro said trying to defend himself.

"I don't care what you were doing, your place is in here with me" Ronni snapped as he ran a hand across his face.

Hiro thought he looked stressed, they had been living together for a few weeks now and had been getting along great and this was the first time that Ronni had been angry with him but if he was under a lot of pressure, he should let it go.

"I'm sorry boss, I'll keep it down next time" Hiro replied.

"and stop fucking calling me boss, my name is Ronni, we've known each other since we were sixteen Hiro" Ronni cursed.

"I'm sorry Ronni, would you like me to give you some space?" Hiro asked and then waited for a reply as Ronni stood up and walked around his desk to stand before him.

"no I would not like you to give me some space Hiro, space is the very last thing I want you to give me" Ronni said.

"then what can I do to help you because I'm ..." he began as Ronni grabbed him by the shoulders and pulled him into his arms.

"I'm sorry baby' I was jealous, I don't like seeing you close to other people" Ronni said as he looked closely into Hiro's eyes.

"we were just talking Ronni, we were actually talking about you and what a good boss you were" Hiro replied.

"so what was funny about that?"

"Miss Anunan said you were right up there compared to the other bosses she'd worked for and I agreed because you live in a penthouse, it was just a stupid joke, that's all" Hiro explained.
