Chapter 14 ~ confessions ~

Ronni was pleased with how things were going, he was a little concerned at first with the arrival of Hiro's friend Siwan but he seemed like a nice guy with problems of his own. 

He had invited Siwan to sleep in the small room that had been his as a child but then he'd remembered that he had told Hiro that they would be sharing because there was nowhere else but it was ok, if Hiro said anything he would just pretend he had thought it was filled with junk.

They had both showered now and were resting on the bed when he rolled over onto his side to face Hiro.

"it's going well don't you agree?" Ronni said.

"well I'm no expert but they all seem happy enough" Hiro replied.

"Hiro I want to thank you for everything you are doing here" Ronni began.

"it's my job" he smiled.

"I know but it's more than that and it would appear that together we are a force to be reckoned with" he smiled.

"I think you're giving me too much credit Ronni" Hiro said.

"and I don't think you give yourself enough"

Hiro blushed at Ronni's praise then took a deep breath before speaking,

"I love it here and your parents are amazing"

"they are aren't they" Ronni smiled again.

"I'm going to miss it all when we go back" Hiro said.

"but that's the beauty of it, we can come back whenever we want to, Christmas, birthdays or when we just want a break"

"you're talking as if we really are a couple" Hiro said.

"in my eyes and those of my parents eyes we are, I'm just waiting for you to catch up Hiro and when you do we'll be taking a vacation somewhere remote" Ronni said.

"why somewhere remote?" Hiro asked him.

"baby, I've not made love in over six years, trust me we won't be leaving the bedroom for at least two weeks and if you can still walk after that maybe I'll take you out to dinner once or twice" Ronni laughed whilst pulling a very embarrassed Hiro up against him.

"you make me feel as if we can really do this" Hiro said.

"we can, there is absolutely nothing to stand in our way, only your lack of faith in us" Ronni said.

"it's not that, I'm just ... scared" Hiro began,

"there is nothing to be scared of, what's the worst that could happen? you go back to living as you are right now but that would never happen baby because I'm never letting you go" Ronni said.

"how can you know that, living with me, being with me and working together 24/7 you won't just wake up one day and realise that I'm not all that after all" Hiro said.

"Hiro, I've been in love with you since I was 16 years old and we made love for the first time when we were both 18, you were my first, my last and my everything so if that isn't proof enough that I know my own feelings then I don't know what else to tell you. 

If you would just trust me and have a little courage we could be so great together and while we're on the subject why don't you tell me how you really feel about me, let's lay our card's out on the table once and for all" Ronni said, he already knew but he wanted to heat him say the words to his face.

"well I guess when we were at school I noticed you, how could I not? you always seemed to be on my radar and of course I thought you were handsome, a lot of the girls liked you and a few guys too, I didn't think I would stand a chance.
