Asami Nakaoka. The Police Girl from the The Shopping Town Arc in the manga. Unlike Hisashi and Kyoko, Asami was actually a major character in this part of the series with good development, great moments, and overall she had a nice presence whenever she was present.
In the manga, she was very supportive of the main cast, as the arc went on she was willing to make very tough decisions, and to top it off...

Her growing relationship with Kohta was very great. From when she developed feelings for him up to when she wanted to join the team.
Because in the beginning, Kohta had a crush on Saya, the tsundere of the series...

While I don't hate Saya, I really don't think she and Kohta would be a good match. Now, yes. I do like how the relationship between the two of them have developed... I'm not sure if Saya has developed true feelings of love for Kohta, she is grateful to him and she does grow to respect him. But as for love, not so sure...
