Meanwhile, Takashi and Rei were checking another bridge as it was currently being blocked off by the police, just like it was before with the previous bridge.
Rei: It's the same here... what should we do? Should we try a different bridge or something?
Takashi: I'm sure they're all the same. Probably every bridge is blocked. What's the point of policing unless they block them?
Takashi pulled out his phone, hoping to get a signal, but he had no luck.
Takashi: Damn it... we need to cross the bridge and get to the East Police Station by seven.
Rei: How?! That's a little easier said than done!
Takashi: Give me a sec, I'm thinking...
Rei: I wish there were...
Takashi: Well, there isn't! So there's no use in bringing it up...
Suddenly, Rei could hear gunshots in the far distance.
Rei: Gunshot!
Takashi: Yeah. I heard that too. It sounded like...
Onbetsu Bridge
On Onbetsu Bridge, Kagari, Saeko, Hisashi, and Kohta can be seen fighting the undead as they were surrounded.
Taniuchi: T-There's so many of them...
Kyoko: You'll be okay. Just stay behind us..
Shizuka: Umm. Hey, maybe we were better staying on the bus with Mr. Shido. Just throwing that out there.
Kawamoto: No way... I wasn't getting back on that bus with him...
Saya: Hold on, didn't you say you thought he was a douchebag?
Shizuka: As a matter of fact, I did. But he wouldn't be the first douchebag I was stuck on a bus with.
Miku: Hey, look out!
Aki: Hirano! Behind you!
Kohta shot a zombie before he realized he was running low on nails.
Kohta: Just to let you know, I'm running low on the nails!
Saeko: Do you want to borrow this...?
Kohta: I really don't do hand to hand combat!!
Saeko: I can't say the same. I'm actually quite fond of it!
Hisashi: There's so many of them. This is borderline insanity!
Kagari: I know, but we need to keep holding out until Takashi gets here! So keep fighting!
Takashi and Rei were now driving down a narrow street below the bridge. He then saw a small ramp and began driving towards it.
Rei: Hey, wait a minute! Are you nuts?!!
Yuuki screamed in fear as a zombie got too close and tried to bite her, but it was stopped as Hisashi slashed the zombie's head off.
Hisashi: Are you okay, Yuuki?
Miku: Y-Yes...
Kyoko: I'll keep her safe. Please help the others!
As a zombie began to approach Saya, Shizuka pushed her out of the way and fell on top of her.
Shizuka: Nooo!!
Aki and Kyoko stood infront of Kawamoto, Taniuchi, and Yuuki. Kyoko was holding a metal rod in her hand, trying to protect the girls.
Kyoko: Stay back! STAY BACK!!!
Aki: We will not let you harm our children!
Miku: Please! I don't want to die! Not like this!
