13. THE RAJPUTS ARE HERE!

Me along with Shahbaaz went to guest chamber where Rajput prince was staying. As we entered we saw few physicians here and there taking care of him and monitoring him.

I strolled towards his bed, he opened his eyes sensing my presence. He was bruised badly. His stomach has a deep cut and his back completely damaged. His legs were also covered with bandages completely.

Physician told me that he has severe fracture in one leg and one arm. It will take 3 months with complete care for him to recover.

I again looked at him, despite of everything has happened to him, his confidence unwavering, the aura still intact. He maintained the eye contact and I noticed he has the same honey brown eyes as Ishwasa do. 

"Adab Shahjade, how are you feeling now" I asked trying to initiate the conversation. 

"Its not appropriate to ask for well being of the one whom you have injured yourself." He replied in serious tone eyeing me in anger.

"This is the thing I need to clear with you Shahjade Aryaveer. We both got tricked. I am your well wisher only" I replied in calm tone.

"First you marched on our kingdom deceiving us and now trying to become a well wisher? Atleast grow a spine Shahenshah e Hind, choose a side; either be the enemy or the friend; don't play the dirty politics with me, I know you through and through. " He again insulted me but this time his anger is valid. He don't know the conspiracy and he was betrayed.

"I wanted to know how the war begin" I came directly to the point without wasting time.

"Its as simple as it can be, you backstabbed us your majesty, you deceived us." He grunted while mocking me, the rage evident in his tone.

 "You sent the ambassador saying that we all Rajput states can operate on our own by paying taxes to you. Anwar Khan will be the appointed head and We need to share our army with you when needed. A few more conditions were there if we don't want the war to happen. But then" I interrupted him saying, "Half of it is wrong."

"You want me to believe you Shahenshah? In this condition; when all you have done to us is fraud." He snickered again.

"Okay don't trust me but I need to know the whole thing, continue." I said to him in calm tone. Only I know how I was keeping my anger in check after listening to his constant naggings.

"What are you trying to prove now? Why are you being nice to me when you yourself is responsible of my this condition. My kingdom's condition. Just because of you I don't even know if my little doll is alive or not." His voice cracked at the end.

"Princess Ishwasa is with us under proper care." As soon as words slipped from my tongue his head jerked up and his eyes immediately softened. My guess was right. His doll is princess only. His eyes welled upon hearing about his sister and I got to know how much affection he has for her.
