JUST ONE MORE CHANCE

chapter 5

BECKY'S POV

        It's 7:36 pm already but Freen is still not here. I was continuously checking my phone to see if there was any text from her but there was none. So I decided to text her.

        My Freeny: Freen, where are you? Are you not coming?

        But there is no reply. Now I started to get worried. Where is she? Doesn't she wanna come? Or her mom didn't allow her? At least she should have let me know If she is coming or not.

        It's 8:00 pm already but there is still no reply. I called her a few times but her phone was switched off. I'm pacing around in the living room, still trying to reach her. But now I'm losing my hopes.

        When I was about to give up, suddenly our door bell rang. I quickly went to open it, hoping to see Freen......

FREEN'S POV

        Shit man!! This shop is also closed!
It's 7:30 already and I'm still roaming around to find a flower shop. And My idiot phone is also dead. Becky must be really worried.

        Ohh God!!! Okay one last try. If that shop is also closed then I'll directly go to her house.

       I bought a milk tea for her and I also want to buy some flowers but all the flower shops are already closed. But there is another shop nearby. And if that is also closed then I have to go without flowers. So I started my car and headed towards the shop.

      After a few minutes I reached there and luckily that shop is still open. So I quickly bought her favourite Red roses and headed towards her house.

       It was around 8:05 pm when I reached in front of her house. I parked my car, took the flowers and milk tea and started to walk towards the main gate.

       But the more I'm getting close to the door, the more I'm getting nervous. I don't know what this feeling is but I'm also excited to see her.

       So I took a breath and pressed the door bell. I waited for a few seconds and someone opened the door. Oh it's Becky.

        "Hi Bec. Sorry for being late." I said to her with a nervous smile. My heart is beating fast to see her again.

        Please control yourself Freen!

        "Hi F-Freen." She greeted me back but she looked kind of nervous and maybe shocked.

         "Umm I brought these for you." I said handing her the flowers and the milk tea.

         "These flowers are for me?? And also this milk tea?" She said in a shocked voice.

         "Yes" I simply replied.

         "These are so beautiful Freen! Thank you so much Freeny!" She said, smiling like a happy kid. I also couldn't help but smile.

         "Oh I'm sorry Freen. Please come inside" she said again, noticing that I'm still standing outside the door.

         When we came inside I saw her mom coming out from the kitchen.

         "Hello aunty. How are you?" I greeted her, joining my hands.

         "Hi Freen. I'm doing good. How about you?" She said

        "I'm also doing well, aunty"I said politely.

        "And how are Lily and James?" She asked.

        "They are all fine" I replied.

        "Okay. You two go upstairs. I'll cook dinner for you" she said with a smile.

After that Becky and I went to her room.

BECKY'S POV

       When we got into my room, I told her to sit on the couch.

      "Freen? Why are you so late? And your phone was also switched off? I asked while keeping the flowers in a vase.

      "Sorry Bec. I just wanted to buy flowers for you but most of the shops were already closed. That's why I'm late and my phone's battery is also dead"said Freen while sitting on the couch.

      "It's okay Freen. I was just worried. I thought you won't come" I said sitting beside her.

      "Why won't I? Actually my mom had a night shift tonight so she agreed to let me to come over so easily" she said smiling and I also smiled at her.

       Gosh!! Her smile is so beautiful! And her chubby cheeks... I wish I could kiss her cheeks.

      "Btw which movie are we going to watch tonight?" She asked.

      "Any romantic movie? How about 365 days?? I said teasingly.

      "W-what?" Her eyes widened.

      "Haha.. I'm just kidding Freen"I couldn't help but laugh at her experience. "How about Titanic?"I suggest

      "Not bad. Shall we start now? Or after dinner?"I asked

       "We can watch half of the movie before dinner and rest of the movie after dinner" I said. She just nodded in agreement.

       "Here is the remote. You can start the movie first. I'll quickly go and bring some snacks for you" I said giving her the remote.

      "Okay" she agreed and I went downstairs to bring snacks and cold drinks.
