Leo sat down beside me with a cup of coffee. "Why didn't you ask me? I barely had any clients today."

Leo starts to laugh like shit was funny. "Man, I swear that wasn't my fault. She overheard a conversation she wasn't supposed to hear and repeated it. And as far as the braids, blame my momma."

"Jordan is too much. Her attention span is short and I didn't get any red flags from Raya."

"She was a client." I pressed. "I don't do that anymore." I lied.
"Right." He says sarcastically. He tried to take another sip of his coffee but I snatched the cup from his hands and tossed it in the trash. He holds his hands out. "What the hell was that for?"
