"Love is a strong word in this case." Leo says patting my shoulder. "But, your life is your life and you choose how to live it. Even if it's the wrong decision."

"Thanks for that." I rolled my eyes sarcastically.

"No problem." He grins like an idiot. "I'm going to go say bye to my neice then I'm out for the day." He tells me and I nodded, happy to finally have a few minutes of peace and quiet.

When he leaves, I grabbed my phone and sent Erica a text.

I'll be home in an hour will u be picking her up?

She replies;

No. She can spend the night

See what I mean?

I scoffed and tossed my phone on the table. I removed my glasses to rub my eyes and I immediately started to feel a headache coming on. Fucking eye sight. I'm only twenty six and I'm already going blind.

A set of giggles caused me to leaned my head back to see Leo talking to Raya. I stared at her for a second admiring her creamy skin, full silky hair, pearly white smile and dimples as she talks to him.

The image of her toes pops back into my mind and I shook my head to clear it.

No matter how fine she is I can't let myself get involved with her. I made a promise to Harmony and I need to keep it, I don't want my daughter seeing me in that way.  What kind of role model would I be to her?

But seeing her so buddy buddy with Leo rubbed me the wrong way. Why?

Since my break wasn't over I decided to make my way towards them. Just to check on Harmony to make sure she's okay.

Leo notices me approaching and he says something to Raya before giving Harmony a hug. When he steps behind them, he points to Raya and mouths; get her number.

Rolling my eyes, I stepped closer to them. Raya sees me and the way she's checking me out without shame does something to me. I tightened my jaw when her eyes meets mine and they lower.

Fuck she can't look at me like that.

"Hey." I said clearing my throat when it comes out husky. "You two having fun?"

"Daddy look! I can draw just like you!" Harmony beams showing me a piece of paper she scribbled some nonsense on.

"What is it?" I asked, bending down to take the paper from her.

"It's a unicorn!" She yells at me offensively and I tucked my lips in my mouth to hide my laugh.

A unicorn? This look like shit. "It's pretty babygirl, one day you'll be drawing on people like me." I grinned poking her stomach and she giggles.

"Yay! I can draw on Raya!" She says excitedly jumping up and down.

Raya tilts her head in the way that says no the hell you're not and I chuckled. "One day."

Raya widens her eyes at me and shakes her head. "No way in hell." She mouths.

"Daddy, I'm sleepy. Can we go home now?" Harmony asks me changing the subject.

"Yes soon, I'm almost done."

"How many people do you have to draw on?"

I held up two fingers. "Two more then we can go."

"Okay, can Raya come?" She asks hopefully and my eyes widen not knowing what to say.

"Noooo," Raya says from behind her and Harmony pouts.

I narrowed my eyes at her when Harmony looks like she's about to cry and Raya winces in sympathy. "I-I mean, not today maybe another day."

Harmony's face change into delight. "Okay!"

"I have to go back, I just wanted to check and see if you were fine." I tell her and she nods.

"Yes I'm having fun!"

"Good." I ruffled up her hair a bit and she slaps my hand away with her little hands. She turns back her attention to the picture of her unicorn, grabbing the pencil to finish scribbling some shit on there.

I caught Raya's eye because she was already staring at me and subconsciously I winked at her with a smirk. She looks taken back by this and turns away to hide her blush. I chuckled under my breath while walking backwards back to my station. "One hour, alright?" I say to her.

She nods her head but doesn't turn back to look at me.

Poor girl, if only she knew that she has the same effect on me, she wouldn't be so shy.

I really need to get my shit together.
