When the world grows dark, your inner light is given definition.
Let's talk about light. There are many sayings about light -
- Don't hide your light under a basket.
- There's a light at the end of the tunnel.
- Don't be afraid to let your light shine.
These are just a few of the sayings you can find about light. Today MING YI(Brightness Hiding) comes to tell us that we might be undergoing a time of darkness. We have been making great progress but now it is like the walls are beginning to close in on us. Now is the time to take heart and realize that even in the darkness we have the light within us. Nature is a balance of rhythms, just like breathing. Inward and Outward. MING YI has come to tell us it is time to go back, to seek to strengthen our light. Now is not the time to start new projects or pursue new opportunities. It is time to stoke your inner fire so that when the right time comes you may blaze forth even more brightly.
MING YI also cautions us to keep our own counsel, do not discuss things with others. Make your decisions and follow through without broadcasting them to the world, not everyone who smiles is a friend.
MING YI says take your time, use your light to see what you have kept hidden in the darkness and examine it so you can find clarity and move forward when the time comes.
There are no changing lines in this throw of the iChing but there is a message in its unchangingness.
It says that we have been hiding our light, sometimes we hide it in another's pocket hoping that they will realize that it is there and find it valuable.
Or you may be hiding it in a valley, hiding it so that no one will ever see it and notice you. It is time to rediscover your light and who you are, hiding does not serve you well. You are not a victim and life is eagerly awaiting your sunrise. If you don't let the real you shine how can ;life celebrate your goodness.
Whatever is happening in your life today is happening to allow you to discover the brightness that is within you, the light that the universe gave you that makes you who you are. It is time to take a real look at your light and share it with the world.
