For me this has been a long weekend with so much activity that I didn't know whether I was coming or going. It was a journey and in the traveling there was joy because it was not about the destination but about the traveling the road.
Today we received the hexagram of LU (The Wanderer) it symbolizes the joy of the journey not the reaching of a destination.
How many times have we become so focused on the outcome or the completion of a project that we lose sight of the joy contained in doing the work?
LU (The Wanderer) comes to tell us that something is changing and you need to be flexible to adapt. The old familiar routines and comfort zones will not serve any longer. Complacency will lead to stagnation and even collapse.
LU tells us that new horizons and vistas are opening in front of us and now it the time to step out on the road and travel them.
Now is the time to catch the spirit of the Wanderer and let it lead you. It can also be an opportunity to examine the baggage that you carry in order to lighten the load for your journey.

You may find yourself in a situation where others might not understand your actions. Now is the time to seek more to understand than to be understood. Respect the needs of others, pushing your own agenda at this time will only lead to resistance and annoyance. This is a time of learning from an unfamiliar situation so remain open to how you might change your way of thinking or responding.

Now is the time to be humble, be grateful for what you have and do not let yourself overreach through ambition or greed. If you fail to heed this warning you will lose what you have and go away empty-handed and in tears.
