Do not be discouraged, sometimes we need to be thrown back into the struggle to learn. Sometimes we just don't get the message, it doesn't mean that failure is imminent, it just means that there is still something we have to learn from the situation we find ourselves in.

Teach and lead with patience, understand that the key to making others better is not in tearing them down but in building them up. Choose respect over discipline and rehabilitation over punishment.
