Today we have received the message of PO and it is a hard one but sometimes we need to hear hard things in order to grow.
PO (Split apart) speaks of letting go of what no longer serves us. Sometimes things and people leave us of their own accord, drifting away gently - but this is not what PO is referring to. PO is much more decisive. It is the cutting off or the pruning away of the dead wood so that the plant can flourish.
The message today is about pruning away those things and people that no longer serve us, that do not make us happy and whom we are better off without.

Be aware, don't ignore the small things. Sometimes the universe sends us signs, anyone who has been in a storm knows the signs when a large thunderstorm is coming. The wind picks up, the sky goes dark, sometimes you hear the thunder and see the lightning flash before the storm actually hits. This line is telling us that we should pay attention to the signs but at the same time move with dignity even as things may be falling apart. Finally, even in disaster, look for ways to preserve what is really important.
I apologize for the delay in posting this throw of the Iching - life has been a bit complicated. I also have decided that throwing the Iching each day is becoming very demanding and it is hard for me to keep up with. So we will be moving to 3 days a week. I will throw on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. I hope you will continue to walk this path with me as we continue walking the road in friendship.
