You were in love with Logan Howlett.

But you felt stupid, you were sure that you weren't supposed to feel this way. You were a grown woman, not a child, and you were falling in love like a hopeless romantic.

You're not sure when it began but you knew a few times where you felt it.

Logan was a hard nut to crack but it didn't mean you didn't try. One day he dropped his guard with you, laughing at something you said. Your head whipped over to him at the sound, then seeing the way his nose crinkled when he smiled, wrinkles on the sides of his eyes crinkling, a shine in his eyes.

Or the first time he kissed you, the two of you in one of your petty arguments when he stepped forward and connected your lips, effectively shutting you up. Logan's hand splayed on your back as you wrapped your arms around his shoulders. His nose lightly pressed against your cheek as he deepened the kiss.

That one night in the dark, you'd been so used to crying yourself to sleep that when it happened with Logan, you didn't think to tell him you were upset. But he didn't say question you or push you, he moved in closer, you felt the warmth of his chest against your back. His hand came to your shoulder as he whispered, "Can I hold you?" You sniffled, a tear falling down your nose as you turned towards him, nodding your head. Small affirmations and sweet nothings murmured into your ear, his warm breath against your ear. Small kisses being placed on the curve of your ear, over your carotid and in the small place your shoulder and neck met.

All you knew for sure though is that you did in fact, love him.
