I STEP INTO MINE AND MY SIBLINGS HOME, SILENT. Edward, Carlisle and Rosalie are in the hospital checking on Bella. Alice's eyes move over to me and she stops laughing with Victor at the sight of my face.
"Jasper? What's wrong?" She asks me and Victor looks at me. "You okay dude?" I nod my head at his words and Emmett walks over to us. "What happened?" He questions and I recall the accident in the car park through my mind.
"Tallulah's gifted."
Their eyes widen at my words. "What? What do you mean?" Victor questions, glancing at his clairvoyant wife before looking at me. "She slowed the car enough for Edward to stop it. There was red magic around her hands." Victor nods along and we make our way into the living room.
"What did it look like?" He questions me and I think back. "It was flowing around her fingers and her eyes glowed red too. I haven't heard of any gifted humans besides Alice." I point out and Alice looks at me as she sits down on the sofa.
"I didn't see this happen." She whispers out and I can feel the sadness which overwhelms her. "I didn't see her powers." Victor interlocks his fingers with his mate's and places a kiss on her knuckles. I glance down at the action before lifting my gaze and swallowing.
"It's okay, sweetheart." Victor whispers out on her skin and smiles at her. Emmett's eyes lock on me. "So what? Your mate or not mate is magical?" He questions and I nod my head, raising my eyebrows. "Yeah, but she's human so I don't understand." I push a hand through my blonde hair and Esme walks into the room.
"Sorry I wasn't here, I was hunting. How was school?" She asks and glances around us, frowning when she notices Edward and Rosalie missing. "Where is Edward and Rose?" She asks and Victor sighs. "A car came speeding towards Edward's blood singer, and he stopped it. Rose and Edward are at the hospital with Carlisle." Esme's eyes widen at Victor's words.
"Oh my! Is the human alright?" Esme calls out and sits down on the sofa. We all nod our head. "Yeah, it's Tallulah we're more worried about." Esme's eyes move over to me at Alice's words. "Why? Has something happened?" My mother figure asks me.
I take in a breath before speaking. "She's gifted." Esme gasps at my words slightly. "How do you know? What happened?" Esme asks with wide eyes and I take in a breath.
"A van was speeding into the parking lot and the driver lost control, he almost hit Tallulah friend Bella. Her hands were up and red magic circled around them and around the wheels, slowing the car then Edward stopped it." I say and Esme lets out a quiet gasp.
"Did she see Edward?" Esme asks and I shake my head. "No, she was too busy panicking and then she knew I saw her which made her panic even more." My mother figure nods along before speaking again, glancing at us all. "How is this possible? She's human." I nod at her words, confusion and curiosity growing inside of me.
