I HOLD A BOOK IN MY HANDS, READING IT AS I SIT IN THE LIVING ROOM. "I'm going to follow them." I give Edward a weird look as he speaks. "Why?" I question and he grabs the keys to his Volvo. "A bad feeling." He states and I close my book, turning to look at him.
"Do you want to come?" I shake my head at his words. "They'll be alright, they're only at Port Angeles." I say, referring to Tallulah and Bella. I find it quite bizarre that he wants to stalk and follow his blood singer and her best friend.
"Edward, Alice will let you know if she sees somethin'. But she hasn't so they will be fine." I tell my brother who nods his head. "Okay, you're probably right. But I'm going to go anyway." I nod my head with a slight eye roll.
"Alright, call me if somethin' does happen you paranoid fool." Edward chuckles before he speeds away. My gaze moves down to look at my phone which rests in my pocket before tearing it away. I turn back to my book.

"Jasper!- it's Tallulah." My gaze moves to Alice who speaks and I stand up instantly, speeding to be opposite her. "What? Is she alright? Has something happened?" Panic and fear are radiating from Alice and I calm her with my gift.
"She's..." Alice's eyes are wide and she grabs her phone, lifting it to her ear. "Edward, you have to get to them. If you don't..." Alice is hysterical and I can hear a car speeding from Alice's phone. "Alice, what's happening?" I'm panicking now. What's happened to Tallulah?
"There's a group of boys surrounding them and they-" The worst thoughts enter my mind and rage swims inside of me. "If they so much have harmed a single hair on her head-" Alice cuts me off, relief radiating from her. "It's okay now, they're okay. Edward got to them in time." I nod my head and reach for my phone, Alice stops me.
I frown at her. "Wait for her to call you, because she will." I close my eyes, gritting my teeth together before nodding. Victor speeds into the room after his hunt and he places a kiss on Alice's cheek. I can smell the animal blood on him.
I envy his control slightly. He doesn't crave human blood, I'm envious of him. But envy is a pointless emotion in my immortal life, so I ignore it. I take my phone from my pocket and hold it in my hand, just staring at it.
It takes an hour and a half before my phone rings and I answer it instantly. "Tallulah, are you okay?" I ask her but she doesn't answer me. I frown slightly and call out her name again. "Tallulah?" I question and she takes in a breath. "Yeah, all good." Her throat is dry and croaky.
"Are you sure? You don't seem right?" I say and she forces out a fake chuckle. "Yeah, just disgusted really. I don't know how some people could think like that." She says with an exhale and I can hear her move through the phone.
