10. heart

Maggie finally comes out and joins me, "oh finally" I tell her, "omg that was a close one! Let me tell you all about it as we walk". She tells me all about how the principal came in, was going to expel her and lily from school, Maggie go out of it because of her status and so did Lily, but Lily got detention, and Jacob broke up with her after he saw how she was bullying me in that video. " Did his friends see it too? I ask her referring to Leo really, but she caught me, "oh Leo? Yea he was with us the while time" and continued to talk about Jacob because she was excited, and when she asked me where I disappeared, I told her I had to go to the bathroom.

We chat a little more, and agree to meet up tonight with the rest of the girls so we could watch the game togather, then go on our separate ways.

I enter the house, and call the Cafe to let them know I won't be able to make it today for work, then get into the shower as I stared at the shirt, trying to guess who it might be from, and why they didn't give it to me personally, it made me even think that Leo couldve let someone put it in there for me since he can't enter girl's bathrooms, but again why would he think I needed a clean shirt?

I step out of the shower, wear pretty underwear and bra, then step on the scale to view the beautiful number of 106.2lbs, that actually made me smile today. I get ready in a cute outfit, let down my now brown hair, and put on a jersey jacket to fit the crowd as well as some makeup.

I walk out of my room at about 7pm, and open the door when my dad calls me "Winter where are you going?", I turn around and see that mom also is sitting next to him on the couch, and JJ asleep besides him. " today's the school game, everybody is going to watch it" I say feeling fear in my heart, I felt like he wasn't buying it, but I was desperate to go, so I add although it's not true " I told mom earlier and she said it's okay, right mom?" I ask her desperately in hopes she would play along, "yea she did, honey it's good for her to socialize, besides don't you remember how fun these games were back when we were in highschool" she says with as she gets closer to him making her nose touch his, "alright hhhh" dad says, "you can go".
I look at mom and give her a smile before I head out, and she winks at me.

I meet up with the girls happy, but somewhat sad and anxious knowing that he saw that video from earlier today. It's no secret he knows now that I'm disordered, and that's what worries me most, that he would try to stop me again. Only if I was already skinny to begin with, ohh to weigh under 100lbs is heaven! Maybe it's better to go ill and actually go to heaven..

" alright shall we?!" Maggie shouts in excitement breaking my thoughts, bringing us into the stadium. It was beautiful, ohh my the lights are so beautiful, "oh are we late?" Maggie asks as she sees that boys have already began playing, "ahh it doesn't matter" I joke as I trace my eyes over everyone in order to spot Leo, and oh lord there he was, playing with sweat down his face, and a serious game face on, with a perfectly built body in a uniform that reveals his toned muscles.

I sit down with the girls , and since MAGGIE was so loud with her cheering, the whole court looked at us, including Leo, that gave me a soft relieved smile as he was trying to catch his breath, with his hands on his hips, I couldn't help myself but to smile back.

We continue watching the game but our school starts to lose more and more with every time Jacob had the ball. Time out came and Maggie rushes down to Jacob to give him a puff talk, saying "You're Jacob! The biggest star I know, the one and only champ, no one knows you more than I do, will you believe me if I told you you can win?", he nodes and nodes, then gives her a kiss fast on the lips in front of everyone that started to clap and wistles while I and Leo were in complete shock as we looked at each other and chuckled, before the coach pulled Jacob away from his love back into the game.

It only took a moment until Jacob turned into a beast, wining every point until we were even, and by giving the ball to Leo he rushed down the court and scored the wining point in the last couple of seconds! The crowd went wild and our whole school celebrated the first place trophy. Everyone was hugging everyone, Maggie went to finish what Jacob started, cheerleaders were dancing, and suddenly I felt alone, I was happy! Truly! I'm glad they won.. but I think it's better now if I head home.

I walk out moments after the big win, and go to throw away my diet coke into a bin, I take the stairs down in order to leave, but I remember that I foolishly forgot my jacket back on my seat, making it that I have to go up again, in order to get it, however I bump into someone's chest as I was running up the stairs, "easy there you're going to hurt yourself running like that" he says in a surprisling down voice, as he looks down, and I look up, knowing it's him but still wanting to make sure.

He looked a little sad, me not knowing it was for the fact that his sister isn't doing well. I stay silent not knowing what to say as I start to remember the clip they took this morning, " here, I came to give you this" he states as he pulls out my jacket, I give him a soft look before he asks "may I?" Indicating that he wants to put it on me, I node before letting out a hardly audible soft "yea.." while my heart wants to explode, "there, all set " he says as we're inches apart, staring into my eyes, in a quit dim place with no one else around, and I couldn't help but notice the slight gloom that filled the two eyes of his. I unexpectedly give him a tight hug, that caught him slightly off guard, before he hugs me back with his big arms, I speak softly as my head is barried in his chest not wanting to look him in the eyes when I ask " did you see it?", " it doesn't matter, I'm always here to protect you... even from yourself" he answers, "is that why you transfered here..?" I ask, "I transferred so I could see you in hopes you would someday forgive me...", "I forgive you" I state making him hug me even tighter, but I let go suddenly as I ask him looking him in the eyes "what about your heart?!?!" Still placing my hands on his chest, " oh Winter... my heart is so filled with you.. I can hardly call it mine.".

In that moment feelings took over, the heart shutting down the brain, his Hands on my cheeks tempted a long awaited kiss, and the night cold turned into flames. In that moment, his lips pressed mine, into a gentle, soft, sweet kiss, that continued secretively for minutes later until we hear steps behind us down the stairs. We stop and act like nothing happened, as rest of the team heads down to us. Maggie finally shows up and comes to me to talk nonstop about Jacob with love filling her eyes, making her not notice my red cheeks and smile that wasn't leaving my face, with glances slipping in it's way between me and Leo, but everyone on the team was too distracted with the big kiss of the night and the big win, not knowing I also had a little a kiss of mine.
