Did I just hear that correctly? No no that couldn't be possible. I thought she was dead. She was killed by them right in front of me, Huh? How is she here?

She looked different her hair and her clothes changed. Was this my pearl or just another one? 'Grian??" I get out of my gaze as I hear her say my name. 'How are you alive?! I thought you were dead! " Dead? I'm not dead I'm just not the person I used to be. 'Pearl, are you my pearl? You look.. different." 'Of course I look different I needed a disguise. Because YOU left us with them, you were our admin!"

'I didn't leave you!" 'YEAH OFC YOU DIDNT LEAVE US! You just went through the portal and never came back with a sign of you. And left us to rot with no form of protection or escape!" 'I didn't leave you, I got—"I don't want to hear your excuses you were our admin!, our friend, my brother." She looks very hurt saying those last few words.

'And where are your wings? Did you cut them?! Did you cut them off!" She took a step forward in my direction. 'No, pearl, I didn't." 'Then where are they? You were the only one who got mothers wings. They were special; you know, not many people have parrot wings. Is it because of him?" I stayed silent. She doesn't need to know I'm a watcher or what happened to my wings.

"I'm sorry to interrupt this shouting match, but Griffin and Wings?" Xisuma spoke with a slightly confused but stern look on his face. 'He didn't have wings when he came through the player scanner in S6."

'Youve been her since Season 6!" You have just been chilling with your friends while we had to fight for our lives each day." Those words wait, are the others alive? Did they make it out? I felt a rush of hope come through me. 'Pearl? Are the others? Are they alive?" She looked at me with eyes filled with anger and grief. 'Most of us are dead." I feel like an anvil just dropped on my heart. They are dead. I always thought that I just never knew for sure.

'Who... Which people made it out?" 'Me Jimmy and Bigb. Martin joined the listeners to keep others safe. " 'The listeners?" 'They are the watchers arch enemies; they help the players if they are being attacked." 'When there's no one to protect them."

'Where were you when I needed you the most? When I almost died. When I almost lost everyone. Where were you?" Pearls eyes look like they are on the verge of tears. Im a bad person; I should have done something.

'I was taken by them and couldn't escape for a long time. You may not think so, but time works differently there. They turned me into one of them." It's hard saying those words I still can't accept as a watcher. 'Youre.. youre a.." 'Yes, they tortured me into becoming one. If I didn't obey, they would make me watch them kill our friends. I thought you were dead. And that it was my fault. Everything is my fault."

Pearl starts running up to me and giving me a big hug. I never felt more safe; I missed her hugs. They felt like the days when everything was slightly okay. 'I didn't know that happened. It's not your fault. You did everything you could. We are safe now." 'You know that's a lie; we are never truly safe."

'We are safe for now."
