I roll out of bed dreading today, do you know what today is?
Amber baby shower.
Yeah. That bitch is getting a baby shower.
I don't even know why I hate her but I do.
I read shouldn't because she is pregnant with my niece or nephew. Of is she?
I can't tell if it's real or not.
She hasn't ever had morning sickness, I saw her eating sushi and drinking wine! Did I stop her no.
I wanted to see if she caught her mistake before she ate or drank it but no.
I should've stopped her.

I sigh as I get out of bed, heading to my closet to find a dress, we won't dress shopping a few days ago and I got a blue dress.
I don't think it's a boy I just like blue.
I lay put the dress on my bed before heading to my vanity doing my normal makeup dreading the upcoming event.
I get dressed and head downstairs, grabbing an Apple I sit down at the table. "Morning." "Morning." I sit quietly as everyone talks and eats like normal.
Amber wanted a big gender reveal with a big balloon that you pop. It's all set up outside, there's a balloon arch and small tables covered in table cloths like at cocktail parties in movies.
The tables have a small bucket in the middle with pens and paper around and you need to write if you think it's a girl or boy on the paper.
It's stupid I know.
But in a way it's also adorable.
But I can't really admit that.
I walk around the yard trying to find people I know enough to talk to. The whole alliance is here, the family and so friends but no one from Amber's side.
Which is weird right?!
Like it's your first child your family or at least one singular friend should be here for you, right?
I find the group of my siblings and their friends, honestly the only thing that really sucks about my friends being 'forbidden' is that at stupid parties like this I don't have anyone to talk to.

As the 'big event' inches closer i get even more bored, I've been standing with my siblings for hours, I'm bored and honestly done.
Could they just pop the balloon already?!
"Everyone!" Amber shouts in her snarky stuck up voice. I turn over and see Amber looking enthusiastically and Dom looking like he'd rather be dead than here.
And for a second I almost feel bad for Dom, I mean he is 23 and got a random girl pregnant.
And she's not even nice, she has a fake polite kind of voice and face.
Everyone does a count down, trying to build suspense. But with no surprise since you have only mafia people here there isn't much excitement or suspense.
But Amber doesn't seem to care, it's almost suspicious how little she's showing at 4 months?
I jump as a loud pop is heard.
Blue confetti falls down and Amber hugs Dom who looks absolutely miserable. I mean he is gonna be a dad to a random girls baby.
People spend a few more hours outside before going home, the maids start to clean up and I help, bringing in plates and dishes.
The whole family has already gone inside, dad and my brothers to his office and my sisters to their rooms and Amber to god knows where.
I set the plate down but then I hear a familiar snotty voice. "Yeah, they think we're having a boy." I start to record in case, you never know.
"Yeah...... of course not....... no but as soon as I can get Domenico to marry me I'll have a miscarriage....... no what ifs, he's gonna marry me-"
"Ma'm you don't need to help." I'm listening closely to Amber's conversation when one of the maids interrupts me.
Amber immediately stops talking I quickly run towards the counter. "Oh no it's ok, I don't mind." I say as Amber walks in with a suspicious face on. She gives me a look which I return but now I have a reason to give her a bitch face.
As soon as she leaves I let out a sigh of relief, I need to show dad. I rush out quickly towards dad's office, knocking on the door and entering.
"I have-" I try to say something but I'm interrupted by dad. "Can it wait Adrianna? We are in the middle of an important conversation." I nod, slowly walking out and closing the door.
I have the feeling I seem to always have, the 'I'm useless' feeling.
Every youngest knows the feeling.
I retreat to my room closing the door, and taking a seat at my desk. I start to work on the song I started a while ago, and I finish it.
I love writing it's an escape, everyone needs an escape. Whether it's from stress or anything else everyone needs an escape.
