The Real Fun Begins

I finally make it back home and I am told that Christian got married in Las Vegas of all places and no one was there to witness it. I wonder how this person got him to marry her. He swore he was never getting married or have children and so far he didn't. I think it's very fishy myself. Mom is just heartbroken about this marriage. I am mad because we as a family were not aware of the wedding and weren't invited and have never heard of this person ever. He told us he was never going to marry and never having children and that upset my parents big time. I can't wait to see this person. Elliott told me that apparently Kate Kavanagh is a close friend and was her roommate and now lives at the penthouse as well as his new wife. Now I am more than angry and mad that he refused to let me move in with him and yet Kate is welcome to.

Christian
Mia has been calling all morning and I am ignoring her completely to concentrate on getting Anastasia to recall everything now that she is remembering things. She definitely doesn't recall boarding a flight to Las Vegas and would definitely recall signing a marriage license and saying I do. I decided there will be no more allowing my family to come into my home without my permission anymore. I know that they will cause trouble when they show up unannounced. Mia is really determined to check out Anastasia and has tried to get her last name from Kate who asked her why she needed to know it. I am very glad that Jason recommended the separation of the bedrooms from the rest of the penthouse so no one can get into the bedrooms and my library and safe room. It isolates the living areas, dining area kitchen and supply closets and coats closets to the welcoming areas both front and back. The freight elevator is close to the storage units where we keep superfluous things for the penthouse and the furniture from the young ladies apartment. Elliott has tried to come up and see Anastasia and especially Kate Kavanagh the one who ran away from him lol. At least that's the story he's telling everyone, I think the weird walking and the black eye after he tried to feel her up says it all.

Elliott
Christian won't let me come to his penthouse and he has given orders that no one can arrive and just come up to his penthouse for any reason. Security has changed the codes and locks and I have to go to one of the corporate apartments with my trio of lovely ladies. Christian told me Kate is off limits and Anastasia has heard about me from Kate herself so she definitely won't like me. Lily, Leila and Emily are my prey tonight. I just hope they know what I want from them. They will be unhappy about not meeting Christian. Oh well they are grown ups they should know that life is never going to run smoothly all the time.

Family Dinner

I really hate having to ask Anastasia to meet my family. I figured bringing Kate along will help defuse the tension. I really don't know much about Anastasia but I suspect that she appears to be naive and shy, but I don't know for sure yet. I saw Jose Rodriquez and Prescott told me that he caught her unawares and she wasn't able to fight off his attack because he had her up against the brick wall and she was about to be injured if she moved at all. So she was waiting for her opportunity to get the advantage. Prescott and her team took him down before Anastasia had a chance. She had been attacked by him before and she beat him and filed a restraining order against him.

Kate
Oh dear Lord I can't believe that I am going to the Grey home for family dinner. Christian asks me very nicely so I agreed to it. Anastasia was surprised that I would agree to it but she thought it might be a good idea using me as a buffer. I know Anastasia and she might appear shy but she has claws and will bring them out when attacked in the smallest of ways. I saw what she did to a few people who tried to take advantage of her good nature. I told her a few things about the Grey family long ago so she's ready for anything at all. Being a foster child she had to be able to adjust to any situation.

Anastasia
We are dress for going to a family gathering and I am prepared for a battle of wits and insults. I know from experience that being a foster child from birth is opening up to the question that I can't answer. Why didn't anyone adopt me as a baby. Hell if I know and I wasn't going to dig into any files regarding my family. They didn't want me and I am fine with that. However I couldn't be adopted for a very strange reason but again I didn't go digging into that either. I witnessed so many children fall into those deep dark holes of trying to find reasons they weren't wanted. I am well armed for negativity of any kind especially from in laws. The home or mansion or castle is beautiful from the road and it has a very long driveway. Kate has been here before and knows a bit about it. Christian tries to soothe my nerves but little does he know that I can easily handle his family. A doctor, an attorney, a construction company owner and then Mia the mighty one and she is the wall that stands between women and her brothers. I really look forward to taking down that smug witch. I have dealt with a lot of Mia's working my way through college and a lot of jobs.
