A Surprise Wedding

Somehow Mia Green has charmed her way into the Grey's life. Grace and Carrick have really taken to her. Anastasia and I not so much. When the test turned positive and we had just broken up. I found out that I wasn't pregnant after going to the OB/GYN.  I can't imagine being pregnant and the father is not a good guy. Mia really made a bad decision on Joshua. Elliott and I have been lucky and not became pregnant, we have some big fights but we finally worked things out. Mia  came to me about this and she told Joshua and he wanted nothing to do with her or the baby. I told her to tell her parents and she did. I never met her parents and neither has Joshua. Her brothers are another thing. Joshua signed away his rights to the baby. They had sex before he met the family. It was a drunken night and they were careless. Elliott and I finally got the rings for our wedding ceremony and we decided to invite just family and friends. We didn't tell anyone that we were getting married. Absolutely no one knew because it was a New Years Eve wedding and party. It was great. Mia was sad but she was happy for us. She decided to give up the baby for adoption. It was a difficult decision for her to make but she made it.

Mia
I decided to give up my baby for adoption. Mom knew a couple who couldn't have a baby and introduced us. I finally gave them the documents to look over that dad wrote up. We were shown their home and it looked nice but I wanted to know more about them. As I am watching them dance at my brother's wedding they are very much in love. Kate told me that no matter what happens I will always think of my first baby. Mom told me that I was a baby when she adopted me and that they were lucky the girl decided on giving up me to them. After hearing her story I knew I was doing the right thing. Mom and dad don't know I am their real Mia. My surgery went well and my back story for the plastic surgery was good too. But Anastasia has great instincts for lies and liars. She might be sensing the hatred I have for her though.

Six months later I am looking at the happy couple holding their triplets. I gave birth to triplets a month early and after being on bed rest for two months. Everyone visited me, dad got the documents for the other two babies signed by Joshua and added mine to all the legal documents. We didn't let him know who adopted the triplets. He was trying to use them to get out of legal troubles. He failed. Dad and mom still have no idea I am their real Mia.

Joshua
My attorney said that I should forget about the triplets because with my criminal history and background no one would reverse the adoption and allow me to have any child that I signed away. It wasn't the first time that I've signed away a child and the other two came forward and told the judge how I tested them. The judge encouraged me to get fixed so I wouldn't have more children. He can't force me to though. The adoption of Mia and my babies was a sealed adoption and the birth certificates couldn't be accessed either. The Grey family came along with their attorneys and Mia's family are testifying on her behalf. I can't believe that they found the other mothers. Because I am already serving time and will be on trial for more crimes they decided to place their decision on hold until the other trials are completed. I could get twenty years total. I don't think the Grey family are so obtuse not to recognize their adopted daughter.

Carrick
We had to support Mia in deciding to give the triplets for adoption, they are going to good couple. Both are doctors and worked with children and donated their time and expertise to help heal children whose parents couldn't afford the kind of care that insurance or assistance would cover. We met them at charities and that's how we introduced Mia to them. She was looking at several couples but these two were from New York and flew in to visit and to do surgery on several young patients. Grace knew them from different events and was happy that they were chosen by Mia. If she had been our daughter we would have stepped in and adopted the triplets ourselves.

Grace
I really hated Joshua and I knew if Mia kept the triplets he would be in our lives forever. He was that kind of person. He would blackmail for money regularly to keep his distance from us. I was glad that the triplets were quietly born and adopted in New York and delivered under another name. Christian had a few people who could help with this and we weren't allowed to be involved. A death certificate for each baby was created and given to the court when they had the opportunity to demand the children be given to Joshua. A lot of deception was required to throw Joshua off the trail. We were the ones who created all this mess. An unknown person was behind the coverup. I was told not to ask and not to tell anybody anything. Mia was in a very private hospital in a town near New York City. She was happy to be home and free of triplets and any attachment to Joshua. I don't know the whole story but the court has all the information. An attorney raised a few questions but was shot down. Joshua ended up getting twenty years combined without parole. Apparently someone really hated him and testified against him in all the trials. It was kept quiet who the person was.

Elliott
I was very angry for Mia Green because she reminded me of my sister Mia and upset that she gave up her children. I had to go along with the story of them dying at birth but it was for the best.

Christian
Even with security this guy would find a way to get to the triplets and it was Mia who realized that in the end and made a very difficult choice to protect her triplets from their evil father. Joshua has been a huge thorn in our sides for a long time. We finally found hard evidence on him and gave it to the police and FBI. It took a month to complete their investigation and they arrested him and he went to trial. Our family was very happy with the time he got. He got a life sentence. He is trying to get dad to come talk to him because he has something important to tell him. Anastasia didn't say much about Mia Green and the triplets.
