I got his years down to seven after the idiot contacted the McNamara family about giving him money for keeping quiet about him being Jacob's real father. The prosecutor was being very generous that day and I tried to get James to take it, but the idiot went to trial and now it's fifteen years total after he continued his nonsense. I hate losing cases and this case was no different, but he didn't listen and follow my advice at all. Even the judge had issues with him and finally had him evaluated mentally. It turns out he is just an idiot wanting money he has no right to have. Well he made his choice and the new PD Glenn Noonan will not appeal the decision because he can't give the appeals court a good reason to hear the case again, plus it is a huge waste of time and resources.

Sarah
Finally Jacob and I are going to have peace and quiet from the prison holding James. My new issue is him wanting to marry Mia Green. I don't see what attracts him to her but I made my own bad choices as my son points out to me regularly. Mia has introduced us to her to the Grey family whom she considers her family. It came out about the triplets and I was astonished by the fact she didn't keep them. My comments might have been wrong especially since she was put through the same thing but that guy drugged her and many more and he tried to get the triplets back and tried to get money as well. Jacob pointed out the man is serving time for each of his criminal acts and is not allowed anywhere near his victims or his children. He might not get out before he dies. He is in the same prison that James is in and I hope that they don't talk to each other ever.

Jacob
I am marrying Mia whether mom likes it or not. Mia was pretty good at standing her ground with mom about how her situation was far different than mom's. I already asked for her hand in marriage and asked her to marry me. Elliott and Christian accepted me right away. Her parents asked a lot of questions and finally gave their blessings. Mom really thought she could bully Mia but found out just how little she knew about Mia. I saw her family grinning as she gave better than she got. So the wedding might be missing one mother, mine. All the Grey females huddle together to plan our wedding, mom sat like a statue with her arms crossed. I took her home and had a long talk to her about her changing or not being welcomed in Mia and my home and missing her own grandchildren being born, boy did she have a comeback for that comment. I failed to notice Anastasia Grey not participating in any of the events or conversations. It's like she can't stand Mia either.

Carrick
I was proud of how Mia stood up to Sarah McNamara when it came to the triplets and giving them up for adoption. Joshua was far worse than James and he was trying to use them to hold on to Mia. She made the best choice for her and the triplets. The triplets are four years old and doing great. Grace gets photos of them and the adoptive parents are great with them. We have seen them in interviews with their mother and father. I was involved in getting things done for both sides along with Grace. We knew these wonderful couples who were desperate for children and this couple wanted all three of the triplets and they got their wish the day they were born. Mia met them briefly and said yes after she chatted with them.

Grace
Sarah nearly had me at her throat but Mia didn't even waste a second before she gave her own opinions of what happened in Sarah's case was nothing like what went on with the father of the triplets. She pointed out that she was drugged along with a lot of others by the father and some were minors. I was proud of her and the fact she helped the victims out as well. Some are in college now thanks to Mia. Some are working for her in a better position and they are giving talks about being safe and cautious around unknown people. I visited the place and spoke to a few girls about proper childcare. She still has a department that helps them out. Two of the original girls are working there to help out those who had been thrown out by their parents. They have social workers come to oversee everything they are doing and Mia is doing everything she can legally for the girls and their babies. Her legal department has made sure of it.

Elliott
Jacob took his stone faced mother home finally and apologized for her poor behavior. Kate and I were shocked by her reaction to the wedding. She threw up the fact that Mia gave away her triplets and compared it to her situation. Mia came back like volleying a volleyball at it hit Mrs McNamara in the face and shut her up. All the Grey women excused themselves to plan the wedding. We men were left to silence and a scowling Mrs McNamara until Jacob took his mom home and told Mia goodnight. We all breathed in relief.

Christian
I am glad that I don't have in laws at all. Elliott has always wished he didn't have them. Eamon and Enid were both annoying him in one way or another and worse when Ava arrived. Anastasia thinks about the loss of her parents, but we have our identical twins and they have built their lives elsewhere after they found out how dangerous it is to look like us. They found homes in a little town where no one cares who they are. Both are married and have jobs and children. We keep contact regularly. I helped get them set up and assure they are safe where they live now. Only a few know where they live and that's how we want it to be for everyone's safety.

Mia
Our wedding was a very small one and it satisfied everyone. Sarah is still not pleasant but I only have to deal with her on certain occasions. Wait until this baby arrives and we will see if she changes her ways. We had a honeymoon pregnancy. It's been six months and the cold front called Sarah has not melted yet. I really don't give a rats ass about it or her after her comments to me. My family stands up for me and so does Jacob. She misses out on so much. She hates thinking about her new grand baby. It's her problem not mine. Right now I am on bed rest again and people are handling my company at this point. Jacob helped hire three people to do my job. We are waiting to inform the family about my having triplets again. These will be it for us though. Anastasia has told me in no uncertain terms that she won't help me any longer and if she finds out I am not who I say I am she will make sure I am exposed.
