Down On The Farm

Mia
My grandparents made sure my things were packed and in their car and I had to go with them. They took my phone away from me and gave me a cheap phone to use during my time at their farm. I had a lot of invitations to parties and had already accepted them, I wasn't allowed to tell them I couldn't come to the parties. My grandparents took the keys to my car, apartment and Christian's hotel suite from me. I am handed clothing by my parents hired helper and informed me that it is for when I start working at 4 am. If I want breakfast I need to cook it and clean up afterward. I finally fell asleep after hearing the crickets, the dogs, the chickens all night long. Who can sleep through all this. I am thinking about the money I owe my grandparents and the contract that they made me sign because I really got myself into a bad situation in France because of my friends. I was the only one who had resources to get us out of a jam, well family members who had resources that is. It was over a hundred thousand dollars to settle with the couple and not have charges pressed against us. Christian was mad at me at that point and my grandparents were the only ones I could reach.

Maddie
Theo was the mastermind behind teaching Mia a lesson. She crossed too many lines and her friends have too much influence over her and she doesn't know how to say no to them. We want to assure she doesn't end up in jail because of them. The young couple were victims of what started out as a practical joke, ended up putting the couple in the hospital. They were lucky the bodyguards saved their lives giving them something to force them to throw up before they took them to a hospital. Because Mia was the host of the party she was blamed for all of it. We made sure she told us the whole story. She had no idea who had pulled the prank but she had help from a close friend of ours to save her ass. We have the list of names and found out who did it. It was another couple that had it in for the other young couple.

Theo
Mia definitely is not a morning person. She is used to people waiting on her and now she has to wait on others. I told her that she will get a small allowance of 5.00 a week. Her hourly wages will be starting minimum wages we pay our workers. It definitely will take a long time to pay back the money. I also expect her to take on line business courses and pass them with flying colors. She must do all this and cook and clean the house and do all the laundry as well. She won't have time to party and get in trouble. She fell asleep at the dinner table and had to be reminded of her duties and her on line courses. Can't give her a break because no one else is given a break.

Grace
I am not allowed to call or visit Mia until her grandparents say so. I swear they are going to make sure Mia really learns a lesson about how hard it is out there when you have nothing. I grew up with these two people and they always made sure I could make it even when I had no money. It turns out they had a lot of money and a huge law firm. They wanted me ready for what the world held for those without money. To get through college I worked hard and got scholarships based on my grades. I wanted to be a surgeon after a friend of mine died because they didn't get her to a surgeon quickly enough. She died when her vermiform appendix burst and became septic. From that point on I strived to make nearly perfect grades. My parents made sure that I could get the best education possible after that. Carrick is worried that they will be too hard on her like they were with me. I wouldn't be what I am if it hadn't been for them pushing me hard.

Carrick
Christian has sent a security team to the farm to guard Mia. Well they found out who the real threat was, it was her grandparents and they have to earn their keep if they plan to guard Mia. Christian said Jason got calls asking to transfer them off of guarding Mia. It isn't the first time though. This time he sent Thomas Sawyer and Theresa Prescott and they got a bump in pay to stay until Mia was released which might be years. Grace finally got her parents to allow holiday visits. Of course Mia has to cook and clean during the visits here. I swear I understand why but I hate seeing her working to exhaustion. They definitely have made sure she has no spare time to get into trouble.

Christian
Omg my grandparents are putting the security teams through hell and we are talking about guys and gals who have been through hostage situations and they were in black ops and they can't find a way to get through their assignments with Mia and my grandparents. I had Jason get two volunteers and give the a nice bump in salary but they would be required to stay until Mia was released from her financial situation with our grandparents.

Thomas Sawyer
Maddie might look like a sweet little old lady, but that is all a front. She makes my drill sergeant look like mother Theresa. She told us point blank that we can guard Mia and work the farm at the same time.

Theresa Prescott
I just grin and bear it because these are our boss's boss grandparents ordering us around while guarding his sister. We are exhausted and they have us in the bunkhouse. I can sleep through bombs flying but that rooster is a whole other matter.
