{BOOM!} {CRASH!}

(?): FIND THAT BOY...

It seems the city of Hueville never seems to find peace. Since I escaped Black's clutches, she has relentlessly sent her forces to ransack the city. She is determined and desperate to find me, even more so as to send her villains outside of Hueville. But no matter how hard she tries, I remain unfound. In Heliotrope's laboratory, she stands with a fierce glare as the bumbling scientist clacks away, slaving to no end as he does not dare avert his gaze from the screen.

Black: Make haste, doctor... My patience is wearing thin...

Heliotrope: {chuckles} Y-yes, your Majesty, I am on it! I would not DREAM of failing you!

Black: Grrr... I should have terminated that brat when I had the chance...

Heliotrope: {cackles} W-well, you probably should have! I don't know WHAT you were thinkin'! Crazy lady on aisle five!

Black's nails DIG into his shoulder as Heliotrope realizes what he brought upon himself.

Black: Oh, is that right...?

Heliotrope: {whimpers} Help...

However, the villains aren't the only ones in pursuit of me. At the Rainbow Residence, Red is gathering the others in the living room for a hunt of their own.

Red: We will not STOP until we get that idiot back!

Green: But how will we even know where to look?

Red: It doesn't matter! We'll search the entire city if we have to!

Yellow: Yay! We're going on a hunt for Dominic!

Pink: Let's think of it as more of a search PARTY.

Yellow: {gasps} A party?! Really?! Can we have cake?! Balloons?!

Pink giggles to herself as Orange decides to provoke Red.

Orange: {smirks} Since when do you care so much about Dominic?

Red: Since I shoved my foot up your ass!

{CRASH!} {THWACK!} {SMASH!}

Blue: Um... g-guys... I-it doesn't matter, but, um... we aren't the only ones on the lookout...

Blue points to outside the window where they see villains breaking into the complex across from theirs. The couple living in the house scream and yell at them to stop, but the villains quickly shut them up.

{BLAST!} {BOOM!}

Red: Damn it!

Green: They're going to come to ours next. We need to leave now.

Blue: R-right...

Yellow: Oooh, I'm getting all jittery and adrenaline-y!

She giggles as she follows Blue and Green to the back of the house.

Orange: Oh, yeah, I'm feeling it!

Orange cackles as he races after them. Pink follows suit until she looks back and sees Red on the phone.

Pink: Red, what are you doing?

Red: I'm makin' a call, shut up!

Pink: Um, why?!

Red: I said shut up!

Pink: COME THE HELL ON!

Pink grabs Red by the arm and drags her to the backyard where the others are.

And it is worse.

The buildings around them are burning up in flames.

The skies are dark with smoke.

The endless barrage of sirens echo across the atmosphere.

Yellow: Oh... {giggles nervously} my...

Pink: Ugh, seriously, all this trouble for one dude?! These baddies can bite me!

Green: Dominic must be really important to them to cause citywide destruction like this...

Orange looks over at Red and crosses his arms.

Orange: Who the hell are you callin' at this hour?

Red ignores him as the recipient on the other end picks up.

Purple: Hello.

Red: Hey doofus!

Purple: Ah, Red. Fancy hearing YOU again.

Red: Not now, Purp! We need to lay low!

{OOF!}

After a brief descent, I find myself landing on a vast, fluffy expanse. Opening my eyes, I wince as I am blinded by this... pure white room.

It's like in those cartoons whenever a character winds up in a blank white void of emptyness. With nothing but themselves to keep them company. I am not complaining, as I look down at the fluffy expanse I'm on, realizing that it's a massive mattress. I sigh in satisfaction as I let myself sink into the mattress. It feels as though I'm resting on the fluffiest cloud. Compared to the cold, hard, depressing conditions I felt with Black, this is nirvana.

(?): Hello.

I get startled by the sudden voice and I fall off the side of the bed.

Me: Ow!

I hear a gasp and look up in confusion as I see the male in the white cloak approaching me. Well, he isn't wearing a cloak anymore, and instead has a robe that makes him look like some sort of angel.

OH NO.

White has a calm smile on his face as he offers me his hand.

White: Do accept my apology. {chuckles} It was not my intention to startle you, dear Dominic.
