Chase It

TYLER AND Phoenix were arguing with the worker before Phoenix finally rolled her eyes and limped her way over to Kate and Javi. "Whoa, Owens! Owens-to-be!" Javi greeted and Phoenix waved jokingly. "Storm Par" Tyler greeted and Phoenix chuckled.

"Blondie" Phoenix raised her eyebrows at Kate. "Sapulpa" Tyler also greeted Kate. "Still not telling me when you're coming back?" Tyler asked. "Us. Still not telling us when you're coming back" Phoenix corrected and Tyler closed his eyes and nodded.

"I don't know. This could be it" Kate shrugged. "Can't tell if you're joking or not" Tyler looked down and Phoenix intertwined her fingers with his. "Well, maybe if you feel it, you should chase it" Kate looked at Phoenix as she spoke, and Phoenix smirked before nodding.

Kate turned to Javi and hugged him before grabbing her suitcase. "Give me a call, alright?" Javi said. "Oh, hell no. You're telling me this douche nozzle gets a hug and I don't?" Phoenix asked in mock offense. "You're right, you're right" Kate nodded before giving Tyler a quick hug. "Really? Him and knock-off Kansas?" Phoenix pointed between the two men.

"Hey, woah, hold on-" Tyler protested but was cut off by Kate covering his mouth and hugging Phoenix gently so as not to hurt her.

"I'mma miss you, blondie" Phoenix mumbled into Kate's hair. "I'll miss you too" Kate mumbled back before pulling away. "Safe flight" Javi and Phoenix said at the same time as Kate walked away. "Okay, time's up. You got to move your car" the guy from earlier walked up and Phoenix glared at him.

"It's a truck, you uncultured swine" she said and Javi snorted, covering his mouth. "Come on, man. Seriously?" Javi clapped Tyler on the shoulder and Tyler just blinked. "I don't think he's gonna get it. Do you?" Phoenix followed Javi round to the side of the car.

"Oh, absolutely not" Javi chuckled. "Hey, listen, I'm sorry for...everything in the past" Javi rubbed the back of his neck. "Don't sweat it. My offer does still stand, no calling me Nix" Phoenix smirked. "You got it. I prefer calling you an idiot anyway" Javi shrugged and Phoenix's jaw dropped open in mock horror.

"Oh, that does it. I was considering making you my Maid of Honor but now? Can't do it" Phoenix shook her head. "Ex-fucking-scuse me?" Javi asked and Phoenix laughed loudly before wincing slightly. "Sorry" Javi held up his hands, also laughing.

"I gotta go. Don't be stranger" Phoenix held up her fist and Javi gave her a fist bump, the two going their separate ways. Phoenix got in the passenger seat of the truck, looking at Tyler with raised eyebrows. "If you don't do it, I will" Phoenix said and Tyler smirked at her.

"Together?" he asked. "Always" she nodded, the two of them pressing the button to anchor themselves to the ground. Phoenix looked at the airport police guy and held up her middle finger as Tyler got out and ran into the airport after Kate. "Can you move? You're in the way of my door" Phoenix asked politely with a hint of sass in her tone. "I-what?" the guy frowned.

Phoenix shrugged and opened her door, hitting the guy in the knee. "Ow, fuck!" he yelled. "I did ask" she said, getting out and walking over to Javi. "See them clouds? There's a storm comin'. Wanna chase it together?" Phoenix asked, pointing to the swirling clouds up ahead.

"Not in this thing" Javi laughed. "Don't have to be in 'this thing'. Come in the truck with us. I mean it" Phoenix offered. "Hell yeah" he smiled before rolling up his windows and getting out the car. Tyler and Kate came out towards the truck and Phoenix smiled.

"I recruited another one, says his name's...Javi?" Phoenix gestured, pronouncing his name with a hard 'J'. "Oh, you bitch" Javi breathed, closing his eyes, and Kate laughed. "So, Blondie, Knock-off Kansas, and Douche-Nozzle. What are you?" Kate gestured to each person. "Clinically insane" Phoenix answered with a psycho grin.

"Eh, works for me" Kate shrugged. "Okay, I'm not sitting in the back again. You get thrown around like a ragdoll" Phoenix spoke up. "Not if you wear your seatbelt. Like you're supposed to" Tyler said obviously. Phoenix made a look of disgust. "Ugh, how dare you even suggest that to me. What's wrong with you?" Phoenix grimaced.

The four of them laughed as they all climbed into the truck.

"Let's go chase a storm"

and that is it! That is the end of the Twisters movie! Honestly might be one of my favorite things I've ever written, and the only reason is because it's about my two favorite things: tornadoes and cowboys. And Glen Powell but he's not a thing so it doesn't count.
Anyway, like I said a few parts ago, I have some ideas! I was thinking I could do another book that is imagines about Tyler and Phoenix (or the gang) if that is something you want to see?
This part is very short but I feel like it is a fitting ending to the film and I will say, I did cry when I finished it.
