"SOHYUN-SSI." XINYU CALLED OUT, just as Sohyun was about to walk out the cafe door.

She turned around with her eyebrows raised, "Oh, yeah? What's up?" She asked, still holding onto the door handle.

"Uh, actually, i'll ask you next time." Xinyu said, changing her mind about her question.

Sohyun blinked and nodded, "Okay, then. I'll see you later."

Xinyu smiled and waved, "Don't miss me too much."

The Korean girl's cheeks were tinted, a slight pink blush, as she nodded again, "Yeah, sure. I'll try." She chuckled nervously, "Bye, Xinyu-ssi."

When she caught up with Seoyeon, who stood outside the door, she looked back at Sohyun, "You know Xinyu-unnie?"

"Not exactly. I just come here a lot." Sohyun answered, "You know her, i'm guessing?"

Seoyeon nodded as they begun to walk, "Yeah. We're friends. I'm also friends with Nien, the cafe owner. They stick together like glue, though, them two. Like magnets. You get one, you get the other." She chuckled, fresh air hitting against her face.

Sohyun nodded as she took the information into account. She had noticed that the pair were very close, since they called each other strange, yet cute, nicknames and talked freely with each other.

"You feeling a little better?" She asked while wrapping her arm around Seoyeon's shoulders as they walked, hugging her closer playfully.

Seoyeon smiled, "A little, thank you."

The pair ended up just walking for a couple of hours, talking about anything they could think of. Varying from recent events that made them happy, to nostalgic memories, to random things like Sohyun's secret rainbow socks.

When Seoyeon got back home, her little sister, Kim Chaeyeon, was sitting in their kitchen eating food. She was surprised to see her, but not surprised to see her eating ice cream.

"Chaeyeon-ah? What're you doing here? Shouldn't you be at your dorm, or something? How'd you get in?" Seoyeon spat out, just curious.

Chaeyeon closed her eyes for a long moment and then opened them again, dramatically, "Okay, wow. Too many questions. What was the first one again?" She asked, narrowing her eyes at her older sister.

Seoyeon rolled her eyes while taking off her shoes and jacket, "I asked you what you were doing here."

"Annoying roommate." She said simply with a mouthful of ice cream, glancing over at Seoyeon.

"Oh. Well, how did you get in?" She asked again.

"Soominie let me in." Chaeyeon said casually, shrugging her shoulders and scooping another spoonful of ice cream out of the tub infront of her.

If you don't remember, Soomin is a second year in middle school and is Chaewon and Hayeon's friend. One of the two who can't shut their mouth to save their lives. Kwak Yeonji being the other, who happens to be her best friend.

She is also Chaeyeon and Seoyeon's youngest sister.

"Oh, okay." Seoyeon shrugged it off quickly and set her bag on the floor, making her way towards the fridge. "Who's your roommate, anyway?"

"Some kid called Lee Jiwoo." Chaeyeon explained, "She replaced my last one, who moved out because she thought i was loud and annoying." She scoffed and mumbled, "Hypocritical bitch."

"Kim Chaeyeon!" Seoyeon held back a snicker, "I don't blame her, to be fair. I'm surprised this Jiwoo girl hasn't moved out already."

"Hey!" Chaeyeon yelled, her eyes wide, threatingly pointing her spoon at Seoyeon.

The pair bickered for a while longer until their parents arrived back home.

Seoyeon didn't exactly want to speak to them, but they stopped her before she could run off.

"Seoyeon, darling." Her mother called out just as she began to walk away.

She stopped and sighed quietly, turning around to face them. "Yes?"

"Please come with me." Her mother waved her hand and begun walking towards her office.

Seoyeon glanced at her father and Chaeyeon before following her mother. When they arrived, her mother sat down on her desk chair while Seoyeon stood.

Her mother waited for her to sit down, but Seoyeon didn't move. She sighed, "Look, Seoyeon. We know... That you're obviously not very fond of this arrangment, but-"

"Understatement of the year." Seoyeon mumbled, holding back the urge to roll her eyes.

Mrs Kim looked at Seoyeon with sympathetic eyes, silently begging for her to cooperate with her. "Honey, please sit down for now."

Seoyeon obliged grudgingly, her arms crossed as she sat. She stared at her mother, waiting for her to continue speaking.

"Thank you." She cleared her throat, "Um, so, since we didn't exactly get to this point during our... Last conversation, i'll tell you now."

As much as her mother tried keeping eye contact, she found it hard to because she couldn't stand the look Seoyeon gave. It carried betrayal and almost sadness.

"You will be marrying a young woman called Kim Yooyeon." She explained, "She and her parents are doctors, and they come from a very wealthy family."

A woman. Seoyeon nodded, taking in the information. Although she was conflicted, she suddenly felt a tad bit better now that she knew she was going to be marrying a woman.

She knew herself, from experience, that it was much easier getting close and comfortable to a woman compared to a man.

"We plan to meet them on Saturday at our house. Two pm, Seoyeon. I want you to be ready by then. Please wear something nice, okay?" Her mother explained, eventually getting up off of her desk chair and walking around the table.

"Sure..." Seoyeon mumbled.

Her mother opened her arms and wrapped them around Seoyeon's shoulders. Seoyeon reluctantly hugged her back and furrowed her eyebrows against her shoulder.

"I love you, sweetie. Please don't forget that." Her mother whispered, planting a small kiss on the top of her head.

Seoyeon pulled back from the hug and nodded, "Yeah, i know."
