AFTER DINNER, YUBIN AND NAKYOUNG ended up in the livingroom, watching a movie quietly. Yubin offered to help with the dishes, but Nakyoung's parents refused.
"It wasn't that bad, now, was it?" Nakyoung asked, patting Yubin's leg with her hand.
Yubin stayed silent for a moment, but then she looked up at Nakyoung. "No, it wasn't." She replied. Not bad at all, she thought.
She smiled at her and then checked the time, "Do you need a lift back home? Or to your dorm?" Nakyoung asked, still tapping Yubin's skin with her fingers.
"If you don't mind." Yubin said as she nodded slightly.
"Alright." Nakyoung moved and got up from the sofa, turning off the tv.
When they made it to Nakyoung's car, she turned on the engine, "Where to?"
"Dorms." Yubin said simply, holding a hand infront of her mouth as she yawned. "My mom will probably kill me if i wake her during the night."
"It's only nine." Nakyoung said as she begun driving.
Yubin chuckled lazily, resting her head against the head rest behind her. "Yeah. She goes to bed at half seven." She rolls her eyes as she turns her head towards the older girl, "She's crazy."
Just as Yubin turns her head again, to look out of the window this time, Nakyoung glances over at her friend.
She watches how only the street lights illuminate her skin. The skin that looks so... Soft and which she strangely wants to touch. How her eyes flutter closed and her lips stay slightly parted as she breathes.
"Holy shit!" Nakyoung mumbles as she almost runs a red light. She instinctively places a hand over Yubin's chest to stop her from moving forward. "Sorry... I didn't notice it was a red light." She apologised, slightly blushing from her own thoughts.
Yubin, who's eyes were now open, laughed. "You're such an idiot." She says as she rubs her eyes with her fingers, "Maybe you should actually start wearing your glasses."
"Hey! Seeing colour has nothing to do with my eyesight." Nakyoung rolled her eyes at her.
"Really? Then how would you explain what just happened?" Yubin teased, pointing towards the traffic lights that have now turned green.
Nakyoung pouted as she drove. "You're so annoying sometimes, Yubam. I could just drop you off here, in the middle of the street, you know."
Yubin just smiled as her eyes closed again. "You wouldn't."
The older girl didn't reply, but she knew herself that she would never.
