YOOYEON AND SEOYEON WERE IN THEIR OWN ROOMS, though on a call with each other.
"Yooyeon-ah, are you still there?" Seoyeon asked, rolling over onto her back as she lay on her bed.
Rustling was heard from the other side of the phone, "Uh," Yooyeon cut herself off as more rustling filled the speaker.
A moment later, Yooyeon returned and breathed in, clearing her throat quietly, "Sorry, i was trying to sort out these papers," She explained, "But i dropped them... And then i dropped my phone."
"Seriously?" Seoyeon laughed, "What am i gonna do with you?"
Yooyeon chuckled, slightly embarassed and turned the call to speaker. After a moment of Yooyeon sorting out her papers again, she asked, "Have you packed for the weekend?"
"No." Seoyeon shook her head, even though no one could see, "Have you?"
"No." Yooyeon smiled as she replied, "We're leaving tomorrow."
"I know. Maybe we should start now." Seoyeon suggested, a smile forming on her face.
Yooyeon nodded, even though no one could see, yet again, "Maybe we should."
They ended up turning the call into a face time and packed at the same time. They each packed a suitcase and a carrier bag, of course bringing things like pillows for the flight.
When it got late, the pair ended the call after hours. They shortly fell asleep, quite excited for the following day.
Although they were excited, there was also something to dread about a non-stop four hour flight.
Yooyeon had never been on a plane before, nor ever left South Korea. Throughout her life, she had only ever left Seoul three times, which was something Seoyeon wasn't aware of.
However, Seoyeon enjoyed going on planes. She had visited multiple countries across Asia and the US. Hong Kong was a place she'd always wanted to visit, and now she is.
Besides the actual trip itself, they were both looking forward to actually spending time with the other, away from their parents.
Speaking on this topic, Seoyeon felt it was a little weird to have her parents so involved with her love life, since they never had been before.
With Yooyeon, she had never dated anyone before. Well, there was one time when she was in some sort of situationship. But it didn't work out when her parents found out about it.
She still felt a little guilty to this day, to be honest. It was something that popped into her head a couple times monthly. Recently, though, her head had been occupied by other things.
The next morning, Seoyeon woke up at six am. Their flight is at nine, but she and Yooyeon planned to meet at half seven.
So, within this time, they had both taken showers and got ready, making sure that they had packed everything they needed.
When half seven arrived, Seoyeon and Yooyeon took a taxi to the airport. Sperately, though, since their homes were quite the distance apart.
As Seoyeon shut the boot of the taxi, she thanked the driver and her phone began buzzing in her pocket.
She pulled out the handle to the suitcase and reached into her pocket at the same time. As she dragged her suitace behind her, she answered the call. "Yooyeon-ah? Hello."
"Where are we meeting?" Yooyeon asked, getting straight to the point. She didn't sound rude, to clear things up. Rather, she was more eager to meet Seoyeon in real life.
The pair hadn't met up at all since their "first" encounter. They had only been texting and calling.
"Meet me by the entrance?" Seoyeon suggested, heading towards it now.
"Alright. See you in a minute." Yooyeon said before hanging up the call. Seoyeon held in a laugh as she rolled her eyes, this girl only saying what she needs to say and just hangs up. Not even letting me reply.
"Seoyeon-ah." Yooyeon called quietly when she was close enough.
Seoyeon looked over and stared. Yooyeon was wearing baggy jeans and a plaid shirt, which was only buttoned once so that you could see the tank top beneath. She had cut her hair short and wore a face mask and a cap, her eyes looking into Seoyeon's.
"Good Morning." She tried agan, her fingers playing with the handle of her suitcase.
"O-oh, good morning." Seoyeon cleared her throat, "Yooyeon-ah."
She smiled behind the mask, but it was only her eyes that were seen. "Why you wearing a mask?" Seoyeon asked, ducking slightly to get a proper look at her face.
Yooyeon looked away slightly, "Uh, i didn't wake up early enough and didn't have time to put any make up on." She answered, her voice quiet.
"So?" Seoyeon asked, placing a hand on Yooyeon's arm, "There's no way you're not pretty without make up. Absolutely no way."
The two stared at each other, one begging and the other contemplating.
Yooyeon sighed before taking the mask off of her face and into her pocket. "Better?"
Seoyeon's lips pursed slightly as she nodded. She swallowed, "Yes. A lot better."
As she stared, she noticed that Yooyeon's skin was flawless and her face looked more cute than mature, as it usually did.
She brought a hand to her face and squished a cheek with her fingers. Yooyeon was startled and taken aback, her eyebrows raising, "W-wh..."
"You look cute without make up." Seoyeon laughed, eventually taking Yooyeon's hand in her own and begun walking through the entrance of the airport.
"I like your new haircut." She added, glancing over at Yooyeon as they walked, hands still intertwined.
Yooyeon blushed lightly and nodded, "Thanks. I wasn't sure about it at first, but i like it now." She said, touching the hair that wasnt covered by her cap.
"You know, people stopped me when i was making my way here because they..." She chuckled, "They thought i was an idol."
Seoyeon's eyes widened, "Really?" She laughed, "I mean, you've got that vibe."
"What?" Yooyeon asked, "Like, a celebrity?" She laughed in disbelief.
"Yeah, you do!"
