I could already feel the energy building up as I hit the "Go Live" button on Twitch. The chat window lit up instantly, people flooding in with their usual spam of emotes and greetings. The familiar excitement bubbled up in my chest—streaming always gave me that little buzz, like the adrenaline rush right before a volleyball match. But today, I wasn't grinding for materials or tackling a massive build. Today, it was all about having fun with my friends.
"Yo, what's up, chat? It's gonna be a wild one today," I grinned, adjusting my headphones as I got comfortable. "I've got Ro and Mapicc on the server with me, and we're just gonna... well, probably gonna be doing some trolling. You know how it goes."
Chat:
EpicGamer123: "Let the trolling begin!"
PixelPanda: "Here for the chaos!"
CraftMasterPro: "Avery squad assemble! Ro and Mapicc are hilarious together, LFG!"
I chuckled as the chat scrolled faster and faster. They knew this was going to be good. Ro and Mapicc were two of the funniest people I knew, and when we teamed up, it usually ended with somebody getting pranked—or worse, rage-quitting after losing something valuable. Not that it mattered much on the Lifesteal SMP, where losing a heart could lead to a ban if you weren't careful.
My screen popped to life, and I saw Ro's blocky Minecraft character sprinting toward me, fully decked out in diamond armor.
"Avery, where are you? I've got the supplies," Ro's voice came through Discord, crackling slightly, but I could hear the grin in his tone.
"I'm by spawn, heading toward you," I said, already looking around the familiar landscape. My character wasn't as geared up as Ro's, but I had a decently good armour to defend myself if things got sketchy. The plan today wasn't survival though—it was trolling.
"And by supplies, Ro means a whole lot of drip stone," Mapicc's voice cut in, followed by his character appearing on my screen, holding drip stone in his blocky hand.
"Oh, this is going to end well," I muttered with a laugh, knowing exactly what they had in mind. "What's the plan, guys?"
"Well," Ro began, his voice full of mischief, "I thought we'd go to Spoke's base and give it a little... makeover."
My eyes widened, and I couldn't help but laugh. "Are you serious? Spoke's going to kill us!"
"That's the point," Mapicc said, cackling through Discord. "He's been trolling everyone all season, it's time we return the favor."
"Alright, I'm in," I said, feeling the grin spread across my face. "But let's not make it too obvious. I want him to freak out just a little, not full-blown rage."
Chat was going crazy, already anticipating the madness that was about to unfold.
PixelPanda: "This is going to be hilarious. Avery, don't hold back!"
EpicGamer123: "Imagine Spoke logging in mid-troll LOL."
CraftMasterPro: "GET HIM!"
I shook my head, laughing at the hype from my viewers. "Okay, chat, we're off to ruin Spoke's day. Let's do this."
Ro, Mapicc, and I made our way to Spoke's base, which was hidden in a mountain far from spawn. He thought he was being sneaky, but everyone knew where it was after the last server event when he'd accidentally revealed his coordinates on a discord call with all of us. The walk to his base was filled with the usual banter between me, Ro, and Mapicc, with us coming up with ridiculous ideas on how to "decorate" Spoke's base.
