Avs POV:

As I walked out of the Airbnb with Spoke, the sun hung low in the sky, casting a golden hue over the bustling streets of Tokyo. The air was filled with the sounds of laughter, chatter, and the distant hum of city life. I felt a flutter of excitement mixed with nerves. This was our first outing just the two of us since we got here, and I couldn't shake the feeling that something significant was about to happen.

I handed Spoke the other AirPod and put my streaming playlist on, A portuguese song playing in our ears, Ponto Para Terminar – Diana Lima. I started humming along to the lyrics while we were walking and weren't speaking.

We walked side by side, and I couldn't help but notice how our shoulders brushed against each other every so often. My heart raced at the simple touch, and I tried to keep my breathing steady as we made our way to the nearest convenience store. The thought of picking out snacks made me smile, but there was something else in the air—an electric tension that hummed between us.

"Are you ready to taste all the weird snacks Japan has to offer?" I joked, trying to lighten the mood as we approached the store.

Spoke chuckled, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "Only if you promise to try everything I pick out, no backing out this time."

I laughed, playfully shoving him. "Deal. But only if you promise not to pick anything too weird. I'm not ready to eat octopus-flavored chips just yet."

As we stepped inside, the bright fluorescent lights illuminated the rows of colorful packaging that lined the shelves. It was overwhelming, the sheer variety of snacks and drinks available. I wandered toward the snack aisle, with Spoke following closely behind.

"Look at this!" I exclaimed, holding up a bag of chips that were covered in some kind of seaweed. "Should we try it?"

Spoke made a face, but there was a glimmer of curiosity in his eyes. "Sure, why not? We're on an side quest, right?"

We continued down the aisle, each item sparking laughter and banter between us. I picked up a bottle of green tea, and Spoke grabbed a bizarre-looking drink labeled "ramune" with a marble inside. "What even is this?" he asked, examining it as if it were a rare artifact.

"I think it's carbonated soda. It's supposed to be fun to open," I said, smiling at his bewildered expression. "Trust me, it'll be a great story."

"Alright, you're the expert," he replied, his tone playful.

After loading our arms with snacks and drinks, we paid at the counter and stepped back outside, the warmth of the sun hitting our faces. "Now what?" I asked, glancing at Spoke. "We could find a park or something to enjoy our haul."

"Let's take a walk," he suggested, and I nodded in agreement. The streets felt alive, the energy contagious as we strolled along.

Spoke POV:

Walking beside Avs felt different than I had anticipated. Every little laugh, every sidelong glance she gave me sent a jolt through my body. I had never really been one to get nervous around girls, but there was something about her that made me feel like I was standing on the edge of a cliff, ready to leap. I wanted to take that leap, but doubts gnawed at me.
