😭Twin Sis ❤️
You really should apologize to Dad.
Why on earth would I? I didn't do anything wrong!
Seriously? You just stormed out after a fight with him. It's like you don't even care about the family anymore.
Of course I care! But he's always pushing me to work or do more. I already have a job, thank you very much!
Oh really? And what might that job be?
Hello? Playing for one of the top La Liga teams is my job! It's not just a game; it's my career!
Maybe it's time for you to get a *real* job instead of hiding behind that excuse. You know, one that doesn't involve running off to Spain while we're here in Portugal!
Maybe you should stop acting like such a judgmental brat! Just because you're living in some fancy place with Dad doesn't mean you get to lecture me!
I'm not being judgmental! I'm just stating facts. I manage to balance volleyball, homeschooling, and a job while you're out there playing soccer like it's all a game!
And I play for one of the best La Liga teams, go to college, and run my own skincare business! What's your point, Sofia? You think just because you moved to Portugal, you're suddenly better than me?
This isn't about being better! It's about being responsible! You could at least show Dad some respect instead of throwing a tantrum and running off.
Respect? You mean like the respect you showed when you left us to move with Dad? Mom's in Boston and I'm stuck here, and you think you can just act like everything's fine?
I'm trying to make the best of a tough situation! I'm trying to help you see sense, but you're too caught up in your own world to even listen.
Help? More like criticize! I can't believe you right now. I'm moving into my new place, and I need space from all this negativity!
Yeah, go ahead and move in with all those guys. Real classy, Camila. You think that's going to solve anything?
Wow! Screw you, Sofia! I don't need this from you, especially when you're off playing house with Dad! I'm out!

I had finally moved in, Fermin and Pablo had found the perfect house for us. It had eight bedrooms and five bathrooms, which was more than enough space. I would be sharing a bathroom with Pedri, and our rooms were right next door to each other.
As I sat down on my bed, I couldn't help but reflect on everything Sofia had said. Even though I was older than her, she always managed to make me feel so small and stupid. It was exhausting to deal with her criticism, especially on a day like today when I was trying to focus on settling into my new home.
Feeling overwhelmed, I decided to take a long, refreshing shower. The warm water helped wash away the stress of the day, and I let my thoughts drift. Afterward, I climbed into bed, hoping that sleep would bring me some peace and clarity. I needed to recharge and prepare for whatever challenges lay ahead.
**Pedri's POV:**
"Guys, has anyone seen Camila?" Ferran asked, glancing around the room with concern.
"No, not since everything was moved in," Fermin replied, shrugging.
"Pedri, can you go check on her on your way to your room? Tell her we're ordering food soon," Ferran suggested, a hint of worry in his voice.
"Yeah, sure," I replied
As I walked down the hallway, I knocked softly on her door. "Camila? Can I come in?"
"Come in," she called, her voice sounding distant.
When I stepped inside, Camila was curled up on her bed, wearing a hoodie that looked way too big for her. She had her hair pulled back, but I could see the sadness in her eyes. "Camila, what's wrong?" I asked gently, taking a seat on the edge of her bed.
"It's nothing," she replied, though the tremor in her voice told me otherwise.
"Please, talk to me. I won't say anything to the other guys," I urged, trying to convey that she could trust me.
She hesitated, then handed me her phone. "Just read this," she said quietly, her gaze dropping to the floor.
As I scrolled through her texts with Sofia, my heart ached for her. It was painful to see how her sister had treated her. How could Sofia say those things? She was supposed to be Camila's biggest supporter, not someone who made her feel like this. "I'm really sorry, Camila. Maybe it wasn't just Sofia. Maybe it was something Dad said that upset her," I suggested, trying to shift her focus.
"Maybe," she murmured, her expression still clouded with sadness.
"Well, food is on the way," I said, attempting to lighten the mood. "I promised Ferran I'd bring you back to join us. You wouldn't want to miss out on their terrible jokes, right?"
A small smile flickered across her face for a moment, but it quickly faded. "Can you stay with me? I just don't want to be alone," she admitted, her vulnerability striking a chord in my heart.
"Of course," I replied, not hesitating for a second. I climbed into bed beside her, giving her space but close enough to let her know I was there for her. She turned on a movie, and we settled in together, the soft glow of the screen lighting up the room.
As the movie played, I noticed how tense she was, her shoulders hunched and her fingers fidgeting. "You know," I said softly, "sometimes it helps to talk about what's bothering you. I'm here to listen, and I promise I won't judge."
She sighed, leaning back against the headboard. "It's just... I feel like I'm always being compared to Sofia. She's so confident and has everything together, and here I am, feeling lost."
I turned to face her, my expression serious yet gentle. "Camila, you are amazing in your own right. You play for one of the best La Liga teams, you're in college, and you're running your own skincare business! That's incredible! You have your own path, and it's unique to you. Don't let anyone make you feel less than that."
Her eyes sparkled slightly, and I could see the weight on her shoulders begin to lighten. "Thanks, Pedri. I really appreciate you saying that," she said, a soft smile starting to form.
"Anytime," I replied, feeling a warmth in my chest. "And if you ever need a distraction, I'm always just a knock away. We can binge-watch terrible movies, eat junk food, or even play video games. Whatever you need."
As the movie played on, I could see her relaxing more, the tension slowly fading from her body. I leaned back, letting the comforting atmosphere wash over us, and before I knew it, I felt myself drifting off to sleep, hoping that when I woke up, she would feel a little better, knowing she wasn't alone.
