"I have training, but we can hang out right after," I said, glancing around the room at my friends."Yeah, sure!" Pablo replied, his eyes lighting up. "I can't wait to see what you've been up to!"
"Wait, what if we go with you?" Gavi suggested, leaning forward with excitement. "It'll be fun!"
"Sure, why not? I don't think Dr. Daniel would mind," I answered, feeling the anticipation build.
"I'm just going to get ready," I said, heading for the bathroom.
"Come in; she will be excited to see you!" I heard Jude's voice, and I couldn't help but wonder who he was talking to while I showered.
After washing up, I got dressed in my leggings and my Spain jersey, feeling a mix of comfort and team spirit. I wanted to look good but also be ready for whatever we planned.
Once I finished, I grabbed my shoes and sat down in the living room. When I looked up, I noticed everyone was staring at me.
"What?" I asked, a bit self-conscious. "Does my outfit not look good?"
"Just look to your left," someone said, and as I turned, I saw Pedri standing there, a smile on his face.
"Pedri!" I exclaimed, getting up to give him a hug. "I missed you!"
"I missed you too, Camila. Could we maybe talk?" he said, his tone a mix of warmth and seriousness.
"Sure," I replied, a little hesitant. "But later, okay?"
"Are you coming with us?" I asked, a hopeful look in his eyes.
"Yeah, I will," he said, feeling a rush of happiness at the thought of spending time together.
As we settled back into the living room, the boys began to chatter excitedly about their plans for the day.
"Anyone up for some breakfast before we head out?" Ansu suggested, rubbing his stomach dramatically. "I'm starving!"
"I'm in! I could use some fuel," Ferran replied, nodding eagerly. "What do we have?"
"Let's check the kitchen! I think Camila might have some of those protein bars," Gavi said, already making his way to the kitchen.
"Or we could whip up some eggs and toast," Jude proposed. "I'll help!"
"You're not burning them this time, are you?" Joao teased, earning a playful shove from Jude.
"I'll supervise," I laughed, enjoying the friendly banter as I followed them into the kitchen.
While we rummaged through the cabinets, Pablo turned to me. "So, what have you been up to? We've missed having you around!"
"I've just been focusing on training and schoolwork," I said, feeling a bit shy. "But I've been thinking a lot about you guys. It feels different without you all here."
"Aw, we missed you too!" Ferran chimed in, cracking a couple of eggs into a pan. "We need to make sure we hang out more often."
After we cooked a quick breakfast, we gathered around the table, chatting about everything from football strategies to our favorite movies.
"Did you guys see that last match? The one where Pedri scored that insane goal?" Gavi said, looking at Pedri with admiration.
"Yeah, I couldn't believe it! I thought he was going to miss," Ansu replied, laughing. "But he always pulls through!"
"It was all about timing," Pedri said humbly, a slight blush creeping onto his cheeks. "But thanks, guys. Let's just say I had a good feeling that day."
As we finished breakfast, the atmosphere was filled with laughter and camaraderie. "Alright, let's get ready to head out," I said, feeling energized and excited for the day ahead.
"Are we ready for some fun?" Jude asked, raising his hands like a referee.
"Always!" I replied, grinning from ear to ear.
