The moment Jisung's lips meet Seungmin's, the world around them disappeared. The kiss was slow, deliberate, full of tension that had been building between them for weeks. Seungmin's heart raced, his hands instinctively reaching up to grab the front of jisung shirt, pulling him closer.

It was reckless. Dangerous. But at that moment, Seungmin didn't care. All the anger, the frustration, the fear—it all melted away in the heat of Jisung's kiss.

Jisung depended the kiss, his hands sliding from the wall to cup Seungmin's face, his touch gentle but firm. Seungmin could feel intensity in every movement, the raw need to lay just Beneath the Surface. It wasn't about winning anymore. It wasn't about proving anything.

It was about them.

Seungmin's back pressed harder against the wall, but he didn't care. All he could think about was the way Jisung's body felt against his, the way he lips moved, demanding yet careful, as though Jisung was savoring every second of this.

It was different from their usual encounters—less frantic, less about dominance. There was something deeper here, something that neither of them had fully acknowledged but both had known was there all along.

When they finally broke apart, both of them were breathing heavily, their foreheads resting against  each other. The room was silent except for the sound of their ragged breaths, the tension between them palpable.

Seungmin's hands stayed tangled in the fabric of Jisung's shirt, his fingers trembling slightly as he struggled to regain control of his racing heart. He stared into Jisung's eyes, searching for something—anything—that might help him make sense of what was happening between them.

"This is dangerous," Seungmin whispered, his voice barely audible.

Jisung's eyes softened, his thumb brushing over Seungmin's lower lips, "I know."

"Then why does it feel so..." Seungmin trailed off, unable to find the right word.

"Right?" Jisung finished for him, his voice low and rough.

Seungmin didn't answer, but he didn't have to. The answer was written all over his face, in the way his body leaned into Jisung's, in his way his lips still tingled from their kiss. It shouldn't feel right. It shouldn't.

But it did.

Jisung pulled back slightly, his expression serious as he stared down at Seungmin. "You're scared."

It wasn't a question.

Seungmin swallowed hard, his dropping from Jisung's shirt as he forced himself to take a step back. "Of course I am, you think this is easy for me?. We're enemies, Jisung. We can't—"

"I know what we are,"  Jisung interrupted, his voice firm. "But that doesn't change what I want. Or want you want."

Seungmin bit his lip, his mind racing. It wasn't that simple. It couldn't be. They had companies to run, a reputation to maintain. They had built their careers on being rivals, on staying distant from each other in every way that mattered.

But in this moment, with Jisung standing so close, with his eyes filled with intensity that made Seungmin's heart skip a beat, all those reasons seemed to fade into the background.

Jisung's hand found Seungmin's again, his fingers lacing through his in a way that felt both possessive and comforting. "No one has to know," Jisung said quietly. " We can keep this between us."

Seungmin hesitated, torn between the logical part of his brain that was screaming at him to walk away and the part of his that was screaming to stay. To let himself fall, just this once.

He knew the risks. He knew how dangerous this could be. But Jisung was right. No one has to know.

As long as no one knew, maybe—just maybe—they could keep this fragile connection alive.

Seungmin took a deep breath, his fingers tightening around Jisung's as he finally met  his gaze head-on. "Okay." He whispered, the word barely escaping his lips. "We'll keep it quiet."

Jisung's eyes lit up with something akin to relief, and for a moment,  Seungmin saw the vulnerability hidden beneath his cold exterior. It was brief, barely noticeable, but it was enough to remind Seungmin that this wasn't just about lust or rivalry anymore.

It was about them. And whatever it was they had between them—whether it was doomed to fail or not—it was real.

Jisung leaned in again, brushing a soft kiss against Seungmin's lips, and this time, Seungmin let himself sink into the warmth of it. He let himself forget about the world outside, about the competition, about the risk.

For now, at this moment, it was enough.

But even as they stood there, wrapped up in each other, Seungmin's couldn't shake the feeling that this was the only beginning. That the real danger wasn't in keeping their secret—it was what would happen if it ever came to light.
