The aftermath of the Void's retrieval and Vettel's fateful expulsion from the airlock leaves the Stellaron Hunters with mixed feelings. They've accomplished their mission, but the cost was high. Silver Wolf, Blade, and Kafka are all troubled by their part in Vettel's demise, even if they were just following orders. Elio, on the other hand, is stoic and pragmatic as always. He sees the mission's success as the primary concern, not the fate of an individual member of the team. Vettel, unconscious and drifting in the cold vacuum of space, floats silently as his body slowly chills. As they patrol the vastness of space, one of the crew members of the Astral Express happens to spot the floating form of Vettel's unconscious body. They immediately recognize the danger of his situation and quickly move to intercept him.
Pom-Pom, the small but determined mascot of the Astral Express, alerts Himeko, the train's driver and crew member.
Pom-Pom: "Himeko! I've spotted something in space! It looks like... a body!"
Himeko, who had been overseeing the train's operations in the cockpit, immediately comes out upon hearing Pom-Pom's urgent call. She looks out into space, seeing the floating form of the seemingly unconscious Vettel. Welt Yang, Stelle, March, and Dan Heng, upon seeing the body floating in space, all react differently. Welt is curious and concerned. Stelle and March are visibly shocked. Dan Heng is more reserved but can't help feeling a pang of concern.
Welt Yang: "Is that a person... floating out there?"
Stelle: "How did they even get out there?"
March 7th: "They look unconscious! We have to do something!"
Dan Heng: "They won't survive in the vacuum of space for long. We have to bring them on board."
Himeko, who has been listening silently, nods in agreement.
Himeko: "You're right. Let's bring them aboard. We can't just leave them out there."
With a shared sense of purpose, Welt, Stelle, March, Dan Heng, and Pom-Pom begin the process of retrieving Vettel.
They use the Astral Express's tractor beam to gently pull Vettel's floating body towards the train. It's a tense moment, as there's always the risk of something going wrong in the delicate operation. Each member of the Astral Express crew watches anxiously as the unconscious Vettel gets closer and closer. Himeko, her hands skillfully manoeuvring the controls, guides the tractor beam, ensuring a smooth and careful retrieval. With a soft thud, Vettel's body finally touches the exterior of the Astral Express. Welt, Stelle, March, Dan Heng, and Pom-Pom exchange glances, relief beginning to show on their faces.
Pom-Pom: "We got them!"
Welt Yang: "Good work, everyone. Let's get them inside."
March 7th: "Do you think they'll be okay?"
Dan Heng: "We won't know until we get them inside and assess their condition. All we can do right now is hope for the best and be ready to provide any necessary medical care."
Himeko: "Welt, Dan Heng, help me bring them inside. Stelle, Pom-Pom, prepare a makeshift infirmary. We need to see to their condition as soon as possible."
The crew members nod and immediately start their tasks. Welt, Dan Heng, and Himeko carefully bring Vettel's unconscious body into the Astral Express. Meanwhile, Stelle and Pom-Pom start preparing a temporary medical area, gathering necessary supplies and setting up basic monitoring equipment. Caelus, the male Trailblazer, enters the scene, noticing the commotion and the unconscious body of Vettel being brought onto the Astral Express.
Caelus: "What's going on? What happened? Whose body is that?"
Welt Yang: "We found them floating in space. They were unconscious and in immediate danger of dying in the vacuum. We brought them onto the Astral Express to provide care and see to their condition."
