"....." The young guy paused, his eyes looked up and down at Megumi and he just sighed, "Sir, this is kfc. You've to order-"
Megumi turned red in embarrassment and he wanted to caste shadow and disappear into them. Yuji and Nobara were trying to control their laugh in the background. At least she had all of them-
Megumi grumbled under his breath as he looked back, to the family table where Satoru and Satomi were already sitting down. His eyes followed the long white haired girl as he blushed and looked away. He then looked up at the sky, trying to do everything to clear his embarassment.
The sky was blue. Just like her eyes.
Yuji was probably now ordering for them,this is why Megumi doesn't socialize. It's a pain in the ass. Megumi just shoved his both hands into his pockets, shifting his weight from one foot to another, it's a habit of his. He's been doing it since he was a kid. It's a way to distract himself from anything around him.
Satomi turned off her phone, she looked back from her shoulder and saw the first years still placing orders.
"You should've got it instead." Satomi turned her head back, her eyes now on Satoru who was distracted looking outside. Well, choosing this place wasn't probably a good idea but Yuji and Nobara seemed to love kfc and yelled together when Satoru told them that he'll give them treats for working so hard.
Satoru's eyes fell on Satomi and he just smiled, a small one, Satomi knows it's painful. His goofy smile came back in sec, "They'll be just fine."
Satomi sighed. It was a sunday afternoon and all of them finally got a day off. Satoru had a tiny mission but he passed it to Mei Mei in exchange of money. That woman can do anything for few extra yens. Satomi should've known, bringing Satoru into kfc was a horrible idea but at least they were in Tokyo, if it had been in Shinjuku, then ....
Satomi came back to reality when a clung sound of glass was made on her table. She looked up to see Megumi had placed her ordered drink in front of her and a whole bucket of fried chicken. Megumi subtly looked around, unsure if he should sit next to Satomi but before he could even say a thing Yuji sat next to Satoru, Nobara grabbed the single chair for outside view and Megumi was again left with the seat next to Satomi. It's not like he didn't want to ... it's because he's in public. His heart wanted it so much but ....
"Sit down" Satomi broke the silence. Megumi had no choice but to sit down. He carefully sat next to her, trying his best to not to touch her accidentally. And when his knee brushed against his he lifted up his leg to pull away but hit the table instead with a loud thud and groaned and put his head on the table as he ate the scream from his lips.
