"The famous Malfoy."

★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★

When growing up, I got called a star often. My smarts and intelligence made people stutter in awe from intellect answers, questions or suggestions. However, I wasn't well known for the intelligence I held, it was the fact I was a descendant from Rowena Ravenclaw. The family of Ravenclaw live on with a surname of Sigurdsson. Being a descendent of Ravenclaw held an important role, always showing off your abilities, skills and talents. Parents expected something amazing from us, something to dazzle an audience, something to keep the audience amazed and in interest.

But that was quite different for me, I was one of the quiet children. Reading and writing fit me much better. Though, my sister and brother were quite the opposite. Loud and showing off the intelligence they had, thinking they were smarter than everyone else. I guess my sister loved being thought as 'wise'. My parents named her Athena, after the Greek goddess. My parents naming my brother Cato, carrying the wise theme on. Until they got to me, named me Y/N  Y/M/N.

From the day my sister was born, they expected great goals, amazing scores and the most important, a letter from Hogwarts. My parents were so proud when  Athena got her letter, Cato got his letter and here was mine. I stared down at the brown envelope, twisting and turning it in my hands. I knew they would be proud of me, but I didn't want to leave my parents, especially my mother.
I had a bond with her, I was her little star. The nickname star stuck with me from birth and will probably live on, the first time I spoke much too early for my age or when I told my parents quotes exactly from a play at 3. But I couldn't just leave the letter, the red stamp with Hogwarts labelled on it shone in my eyes. Slowly, I unwrapped the top.

"Dear Miss Sigurdsson,
We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The term begins on September 1st."

The next page held the things I was required with a list of books. I looked up on the calendar and realised it was the 1st of August. I had a lot of time to get my things from Diagon Alley but I could not wait. Quite quickly, I ran past little house elves in my large, blue themed house.

Bumping into my mother on the way, I stuttered over my words. But she said the words for me.
"Oh my Merlin! You got a letter!" She celebrated from the top of her lungs, lunging forwards to tackle me into a hug. Her arms wrapped around me tightly. My siblings stumbled down the stairs, rubbing their eyes from tiredness, I suppose. My father followed soon after, wondering what the loud cheering was for at this time in the morning.

Suddenly, my siblings and father ran over to me, seeing the slight shape of the letter in my hand. They also joined the hug, congratulating me. Later in the day, we all got ready and went on our way to Diagon Alley. My wand was dragon heartstring to show ambition I had. With a busy day of getting supplies, I ran into a boy with slicked back, blonde hair. He was slightly taller than me with grey-blue eyes. His dark green jumper with the serpent on said enough. A Malfoy. His smirk formed on his face.
"The famous Ravenclaw descendant," he remarked with the smirk still plastered on his face.
"The famous Malfoy," my sister replied and towered over him and I, she slyly smiled while intimidating the smaller boy.
He turned away to his father, who was having a conversation with my father. I assumed they knew each other from school because of being around the same age. The Malfoy stumbled backwards to his father and I waved in a sarcastic manner.

"Bye bye now," my brother taunted, looking at me and my sister once again.
"Stupid little boy, thinking he can really scare us? The Ravenclaw descendants," Athena called Cato and me.
"He's just a Malfoy, I wouldn't be surprised from that family," I told them.
We all snickered as my father and Malfoy said their goodbyes. We walked away, on our way home. The month went by quickly, everyday involving waking up, breakfast, doing something, lunch, reading then dinner.
So by the day of September 1st, my mother was filling up with tears at 10:30 in the morning. She cried over the fact none of us were babies now, all leaving her. She hugged us all tightly and so did my father.
"Goodbye, have the best time and I love you three so much," my mother stated. We all replied with "love you" to both parents and gave our luggage to some worker.
