Ron dragged me all the way to where Fluffy was, the door creaking as I used 'alohomara' to unlock the door. A symphony was playing, a harp chimed by itself. We tripped through the door, Fluffy was asleep.
"Ugh! It's got horrible breath." Ron stated. He wasn't wrong, the smell of the beast's breath flew in the air, carrying a disgusting stench.
"We have to move its paw." Harry said, pulling us along with him to pick up the paw.

"What?!" Ron shouted.
"Shhhh! You're going to wake him up!" I whispered,loudly to Ron. Warning him, he might wake the beast up.
"Come on!" Harry said and Ron sighed. We pushed the paw together, Harry encouraged us.
We strained, putting the strength of our small heights into it. And finally, the paw moved.
"I'll go first." Harry implied, opening the door. "Don't follow until I give you a sign," he added on.

"If something bad happens, get yourselves out." Harry said to us three, we glared down the door.
"Don't you think it's a bit quiet?" I questioned. The realisation hit me once the three headed dog leaned over us, its drool dripping down onto Ron.
"Ew! Yuck!" Ron groaned, disgust played on my face and I shook my head frantically. Fluffy started barking and growling, trying to claw at the four weak children. We all jumped into the door, one after the other. Green vines engulfed our legs, eating us like supper. It wrapped around us like ropes, until me and Hermione relaxed.

Our minds thought alike, thinking that this thing was Devil Snare. It would let you wash out if you relaxed.
"Hermione! Y/N!" Both boys shouted at the same time. We stood under the vines, waiting for someone to relax. Maybe a few minutes later, Harry falls through. I flash a small smile while trying to figure out how to get Ron down, I knew he wouldn't relax at anytime.
"Devil snare. Devil snare." I repeated to myself, under my breath. I read it in a book, definitely.
"It's deadly fun." I told Hermione, remembering some part of the book.

"And it will sulk in the sun!" She figured, pulling out her wand. I copied her actions and chanted 'Lumus Solem'. Ron came falling out and I grabbed his hand, pulling him up from the floor.
"Lucky we didn't panic." Ron said, a smirk on his face.
"Lucky Hermione and Y/N pay attention in herbology." Harry retorted with sass.
We pushed forward, entering a room with lots of golden keys which Hermione thought were birds. All of the keys flew back and forth, racing along the room in different directions.

Harry spotted one key that was right for the door and a broom floating at our height. Harry pushed off the floor and grabbed the key we needed, throwing it down to us. Hermione caught it, opening the door and running in. A dark room surrounded us, broken pieces scattered across the floor. I bent down, picking it up. It looked like a horse's head in white?
"I don't like this. I don't like this at all." Hermione commented to me.
"Where are we, a graveyard?" Harry seriously asked. I rolled my eyes, picking up some more pieces. Wizard's chess.

"This is no graveyard." I added.
"It's a chessboard." Ron's face lit up with excitement, the light flickered on, illuminating the once dark room.
"There's the door." Harry pointed out, walking towards the door. We walked across the board, following him. A row of pawns on each side stood, making little space for all four of us to walk past. The pawn drew their swords, whipping it close to our faces. I stumbled backwards, almost tripping over my own feet.
"Now what do we do?" Hermione stood, her curly hair resting on her shoulder and face huffing in annoyance.

"It's obvious, isn't it? We've got to play our way across the room. Alright, Harry. You take the empty Bishops's square. Hermione, you'll be the Queen-side castle. Y/N, you can be beside the bishop. As for me, I'll be a knight." It was surprising, Ron's knowledge for chess since he didn't put much focus on school, instead sleep and ate. He would ask for Hermione's or my homework, to copy obviously.
