"Because you're such a star?"

★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★

My three friends went to their common room, I sighed, walking to my common room also. The cold nipped at my nose, I wrapped my robe tighter around me. The hall was silent, completely silent. Looking up, I saw the slither of emerald scales again above my head. I ran to my common room, not looking back, not looking thinking about what I might have dropped. It sure was the animal that lied in the Chamber, it only worked on heir's command. So why was it slithering through the pipes? Did the heir send it to kill me?

I'm sure, if Malfoy was the heir, he wouldn't have done that. My shoes clattered on the floor while I ran up to my dorm. Padma was sat on her bed with a book in her hand.
"Hi, Padma." I said, quickly grabbing some pyjamas.
"Hi, Y/N. What's a matter? You look like you saw a ghost." Padma commented, observing my face and state.

"Well, maybe I did see a ghost." I joked, trying to cover my fear. I had just witnessed, maybe a part of the Chamber and here I was, trying to cover it up.
"O..k, just tell me if anything is wrong." Padma replied. I rushed into the bathroom, going in the shower and changing into my pyjamas. I didn't know whether to tell Hermione, I could tell her about it being in the pipes, not going around the halls instead.

The next morning, I was still worried. What could that thing possibly do to Hermione, since her being a muggle-born. The animal possessed by the Heir obviously targeted poor muggle-borns. I really didn't understand the hatred for them, especially from Draco.

Later, we had some silent studying in a study hall. I was sat opposite Hermione and Ron, and sat with Harry. Students stared at Harry, fear filling their eyes to the brim. Their eyes wandered across Harry, wondering if he was the Heir. Even Hermione and Ron looked at him differently. However, I couldn't, I was absolutely sure Harry was not the Heir. Ginny glared at Harry, a little black book placed in front of her. It had gold on the edges of the cover and the cover looked like leather. It had a name on the front which I couldn't read from far. My eyebrow raised, suspiciously. Ginny wasn't the type to have a book like that.

Harry glanced around the room, looking at the people staring at him. Ginny quickly turned away, carrying on writing in the book. Harry packs all his stuff away and gets up from his chair, I copy his actions, deciding to go with him.

"I'll see you back in the common room." Harry commented.
"I'll come with you, Harry. Bye Ron, Bye Hermione." I waved to them both, picking up my bag.
Me and Harry walked out the study hall, walking along the icy corridors.
"Harry, I don't think you're the Heir." I said, trying to comfort him.

"You're about the only one." He sadly replied.
"I'm your friend, I'm going to believe you or be on your side. No matter what." I added. He beamed at me while we walked in comfortable silence again.

Suddenly, Harry seemed alarmed, his ears perked up like a rabbit hearing a predator. We turned a corner to see Nearly Headless Nick floating, his head was almost fully off, hanging on by a thread. It was quite gory, making me feel sick to my stomach. I didn't notice a Hufflepuff, stiff on the floor, until Harry pulled me to the floor.

Harry examined the poor boy, taking in his facial expressions. His face was shocked, in terror, like he saw something he didn't want to see. My heart ached for the boy, he was petrified.

"Caught in the act." Harry quickly turns around and I notice Filch, coming closer to us both.
"I'll have you out this time, Potter. Mark my words. And you, Sigurdsson, I knew you would be Potter's helper." Filch spat, a large wicked grin tugging at his lips.
"No, Mr Filch! Y-y-you don't understand-" Harry didn't finish. A long row of tiny spiders following outside through a crack in the window.
