Highfires pov:

There he stepped out out of the cover from the overhang we were standing under. I took Rainshot server and we stepped out together. 'this is for you' I said meaning my lost friend and Rainshot lost partner. And so it began. We ran from hiding spot to hiding spot getting deeper in to con territory and deeper in scrap if we were found out. "Hold" bumblebee said pressing this back up against the wall. His door wings were pressed to his back for maximum mobility and better for hiding in such a dangerous place. I stood a ways away my back pressed up against the same wall and rainshot crouching a few feet away under some debris. _base to team A you are entering a comm dead zone when you exit it radio silence will be initiated_ I heard ultra Magnus say though the comm from base. "copy that" bee replied before double checking the area ahead of us.

"scrap" he said pulling away from the edge. "cons we can either go around or push though" he said as rainshot crouch walked up to us. "we don't have time to wast we have to push though" bee nodded and so did I. "bee go around to the back and attack from there your the only one fast and small enough to get there without being noticed" I commanded. I had been put in charge but it was more we all just knew what the perfect thing to do was. "got it" he said before disappearing into the mangled field of fallen buildings and bomb holes. it was only about thirty seconds till he spoke thought the comm. _i'm in position_ he said and I moutons for rainshot to come up behind us. I transformed my arm into a cannon and so did rainshot.

I softly threw a stone to get one of the drones attention. he walked over and I quickly finished him off with a blast from my cannon. then I heard a grunt from across the field and realized bee must be neck deep in scrap. "come on" I said to rainshot who followed across the field taking down a few cons as we when. each one took time to take down and the longer we spent here the more chance bee could be injured. we finally made it across the field where I watched bee finish off the last of what I estimated to be 13-15 cons. he was breathing heavily but didn't seem to be injured he kept the battle conselade and quiet and I wounded how I hadn't heard any blaster noises. "are you hurt" I asked as I rushed up to him. he checked on his back there was a small scratch but nothing bad enough to slow him.

"fine but we have to go i don't know if there's more and we cant waist any more time" he said before continuing forward.  my comm whent static all of a sudden and bee and rainshots covered there audio receptors to show there's did to. I turned mine off and so did the others. "were in the comm dead zone and won't be able to call for backup" rainshots said balling up her servor. "even if it had a low chance of getting here were alone" she added. we nodded and my spark felt like it was going to beat out of my chassis. we made our way farther along as it got darker in the day. it was soon night the cool wind blowing over our frames. we walked on until we found a area heavy with fallen buildings creating many hiding spots. "well rest here only a small amount of recharge its best to move at night" bee said looking around to make sure it was a clear area.

"its all clear but we won't be able to make a fire" he said looking around for cover I looked around until my gaze landed on a old building that was still half standing it looked promising. "over her" I said waving to rainshot and bee. we hurriedly made our way over the ruble till we were concealed by the building large walls. we found good spots to sit down and rest. I took out the energon cube from my subspace and took a bite. this might be the last chance I get to eat for a while. rainshot did the same sitting closer to me. bee was across from us looking out the door we had come in from. he looked at us than quickly away again. "bumblebee" rainshot said in a stern tone that meant she wanted him to eat. "ok ok" he replied before taring his optics away from the door. even I was finding it hard to eat it felt like my stomach was going to tare itself out I was so nervous.

we only rested fro about thirty minutes till we were back out and in further to the con territory. we traveled most of the night slower than before we encountered more and more cons the further we went and had to go around most of them taking away more time. I was so tired I thought me peds would fall off or I was going to collapse. even bumblebee who seemed like he never got tired was starting to slow but was good at not showing it. the sun finally broke over the horizon casting long shadows over the land.  making us have to go slower as to not give away our position. the day was cold and the sky was filled with smoke from battles that still waged on ether side of use. "it makes me sick" i said pointing up at the sky. "me to" rainshot replied while bee just sayed silent but nodded.

"hey you get over here" i heard a con yell pointing at bee. he obviously hadn't seen me and rainshot. bee wiped a look of determination and bravery sparkling in his optics. he shoved the allspark case into my stomach making me grab it. then he pushed both me and rainshot into a small cavern. "bumblebee what are you doing" i said trying to get out but he stopped me. "there's too many of them to fight you need to get the allspark to the launch pad" he said looking over his shoulder and i could hear the con calling to many others. "what about you" rainshot pleaded holding his arm. "i'm going to distract them but you have to promise me you wont stop" i shook my helm. "no i'm not leaving you" i tried to free myself but he stopped me again.

"highfire rainshot promise me you'll keep going don't look back" rainshot nodded and i knew he was doing this for the greater good but it didn't stop it from tearing my spark apart he was going to die. "no well make it though this together" i looked back at me with no fear in his optics only unmatched bravery. "highfire let me go...... and i want to thank you for .... giving me a second chance" and with that he turned his door wings popping out   and he sprinted at full speed across the field. "come and get me" he yelled pausing for a moment to cast one final look at us. his optics full of bravery, caringness, and love. than he mouthed the words I would never forget thank you and continued running. I could feel the coolest stream down my face as his words replayed over and over in my mind. ......thank you.....
